I lived in Phoenix for a few years and had the pleasure of watching the great receiver Larry Fitzgerald. I don't recall ever seeing him refuse to block. He would level his blocking assignments game in and game out. Adams is a fine receiver but his game is limited by his desire to do anything but catch and run.
People trying to stick up for Carr is blind the play that they are trying to get to Adams there is a big ass whole he could of stepped up in but no he goes straight to the linemen and curls up if that was a QB like Allen Mahomes Hurbert or Lamar Jackson they step up in that whole and make something happen
Sanjit, you are the best on the net fleshing out the tape. I love you commentary and you give a lot information that a novice may not catch. BTW, I watched it all
Thanks for breaking down the film it goes to show you it's not coaching it's more player execution just like that toss play on 4th down the way you broke it down if Adams would have picked up his block that would have been the first down
Got to the point. Nice breakdown as usual my guy. Been following for 5 years man ever since the start of the gruden era. And you were recording videos in your car brotha man
The only takeaway from losing is: what you can scheme up from plays like that last one we needed 7 yards Foster was open on quick turnaround to get the first down...Josh should be able to dial different plays and different receiver reads off that action Dope breakdown!!!
All seriousness a QB realistically goes 1 Mississippi..2 Mississippi..3. then either takes off or throw it away when there’s nothing there. Especially knowing your OL is inconsistent. Carr holds onto the ball for too long and curls up into a ball. It’s sad it looks like he’s in his rookie season
S T - liked and subscribed - plays you're showing vs Colts - 1st play - deep to Hollins - Everyone is covered - running into coverage - not open except for Jacobs in the flat - who Carr doesn't even look at - and route and pass Not the same - - 2nd play - you're right - our fullback was helping Miller - not running down field to help block down there - 3rd play - Carr get sacked - he does Not step up - he wastes time and does Not SEE Jacobs open in the flat - other receivers Covered running right into coverage ! 4th play - good blocks but Jacobs gets there a bit too late ! 5th play - you're right - Adams misses block - and play is blamed on McDaniels - but it seems Jacobs is there a bit too late - 6th play - you're right - Jacobs cutting inside would have been better than outside - 7th play - you're right - nicely designed faking right and going left - 22 yard pick up by Jacobs - good - 8th play - power left good blocking and run 9th play - you're right - Miller not anchoring - making Carr move late and pass to Adams - 10th play - spread out - short pass to Adams BUT Carr shuffling feet too long - throws it too late - but pass completed - 11th play - reverse to Hollins - Miller misses block with penalty - 12th play - pass to Moreau - but Miller misses block again - 13th play - missed red zone play - pick play - Carr's pass too high and too late to Adams - incomplete - you don't know why it didn't work? Cuz another bad pass like you said - 14th play - game loosing play - everyone's covered - plus triple blitz - pass to Adams in back of end zone - covered incomplete - 15th play - same concept - pass good to Abdullah - THANKS for so much time research and showing plays - Best Raiders you tube channel !
I watch all of your film study videos in their entirety, you have helped me to understand just how great NFL is, thank you Sanjit I look forward to seeing your next one bro, great work man 🤘😆RN4L RRRRRRAAAAAIIIDDERRRRRS
Thank u Sanjit for this video! I’m so tired of hearing everyone use Josh McDaniels as a scapegoat! Just cuz Carr cried all the so called analysts ruled it’s McDaniels fault. They need to give McDaniels more time and draft a new QB. I appreciate so much what you do Sanjit! Oh yeah I watched the whole video up to the point and beyond! Can’t wait for your next video!
I Hate especially more noticeably this year right when the ball Is snapped and DC gets it in his hands, look at his feet. They just stay planted in the same place the whole time. Even when he gets sacked more then half the time he’s just standing there ready to take the down and move on to the next. He Doesn’t keep his feet pumping whatsoever and in the games he does play in that sense he plays very well. Idk if it’s a weekly strategy game plan thing where they don’t want him to move out of the pocket certain games or what, but DC makes Himself seem very inconsistent playing like so.
Another great video Sanji! You know how to put this all into perspective! Too many McDaniels hater’s, including a few influencers unfortunately who want to crucify McDaniels. Good, bad or indifferent, this staff will turn this long time, suffering program and fan base around!….. With OR without Carr! They aren’t going to draft an early round QB……NONE of these early round QB’s can step in as a rookie and run this system effectively! Mac Jones is smart but even had to have the system simplified for him!…… 95% sure Carr will restructure his contract and not have an issue with them drafting a later round QB in the next few years…..The defense needs this years draft to mainly focus on them!
I’m 25 minutes in and loving you film break down. Devanta is a stud but maybe a little better blocking by him and few of these RB runs could be longer or go the distance.
Ayyy Sanjit bro I watched up until the point and then watched until the end! You always come with great insight and observations about the Raiders. You and Carl are my favorite raiders RU-vid creators! Keep it up man always enjoy your videos!
Great vid. I been the most critical if McDaniels but its halfway and nothing has started. Im going to stop and just support all them til the end of the season. If we win vs broncos, we can beat anyone
Awesome job breaking down the offense, and going into detail on why the plays worked or didn’t. You said it was a long video it didn’t seemed like a 5 minute video than a 35 minute one!!
I watched up to this point and good analysis my man appreciate the content. Question what’s your take on these 2 college QB’s? Michael Pennix Jr and Caleb Williams? I think Caleb with his pocket awarness and play making ability is an upgrade from Carr for sure. Michael Pennix Jr is good as well. Your thoughts?
Sanj! I watched up to the whole vid. We need more of these if possible. Or atleast the lineman vids you make sometime. Still think that kolton miller tripping call was bs. Bro didnt really move his legs after he cuts.
Ive gotten into a ton of arguments with fellow Raider fans most don’t know the ins and outs to plays you need 11 guys doing there job or play wont work, for example the fourth down toss play that was stopped fans were blaming Josh McDaniels and I was telling them DA didn’t do his job if he did Rb would be still running smh
Hey I appreciate all your film studies I I check them out as much as I can I stole don't like Daniel's I know the team's not playing for them but that's part of it that you want the team to play for the coach he doesn't seem to be a player person I don't know there's just something wrong of course all the things that the Raiders go through what else is new and I watched it and I appreciate it thank you
I’m almost to the end but wouldn’t a pass to FM be a better option? He was a little more open and was right at the sticks to at least get a first down to live for another set of downs?
Watched to this point Bruh! Fine job because I like Jackson Kruger but he drives me crazy like most content video when we have to listen over a frozen video where you let the video run a bit so we can get into the flow then show it again so we can see other aspects. When I'm at the game or I'm watching it live on TV, I'm usually looking at Derek Carr just to see where the ball's gonna go. Kinda like how the camera works, but. I like to be able to see the route and. The available holes available and the offensive line. And then when we're on defense, I like to see. How the. Defensive ends and the D tackles are attacking the quarterback.
