Not ready to throw the kid out yet. He's 22 and has to play more. Wanna cover up mistakes and make consistency a more normal thing? That takes experience.. like any job. Good fair analysis, nice video.

They lost the game because the Packers rushed for 250+ yards and had the ball for 40+ minutes. It’s hard for a quarterback in his 6th game playing from behind on the road to have to throw the ball 35 times and win the game because all your “high dollar” players are having terrible seasons except JT.

As a colts fan I'd say any qb in this league would thank there defense if they only held opposing teams to 16 points. Funny u mention time of possession when the offense has yet to posses the ball for longer than 3 minutes. I mean 5 3 nouts and 2 interceptions. That helps the defense get off the field. I'm still pulling for AR but come on the loss to packers were on both sides of the ball

@haitian94
@haitian94 2 часа назад
@@clint72101000% agree with this. Time of a possession has been an issue because he’s so boom or bust. You either get a big play or 3 and outs and turnovers. If he ever figures it out, it’ll be because he is more consistent at throwing the short and intermediate routes and sustaining drives. Sustaining drives helps keep the defense off the field so they can get a break and won’t tire out trying to stop the run. I know you know this but this for the others who cant grasp that concept.

Great video I needed to see this as an Anthony Richardson fan I'm always defending him but I see a little space for improvement he definitely can work on his patience. he seems like he's so eager to get rid of the ball but I think he's just trying to get the play timing right. But if he holds the ball a few more seconds the receivers will separate more as the play is designed the check down and scramble lanes will open up. Just give him a few more games he's still a rookie he hasn't even played at every stadium in the league yet

I do not like saying I told you so, but Richardson is not a good quarterback. He is a fantastic athlete. He might have success as a decathlon athlete in the Olympics. All of the other athletic abilities are extra. The cherry on top. But not essential.

@@Whydoweneedhandles427idk man Anthony scored a 79 on the cognition test. The average starting QB scores a 90. Don’t @ me about cj he didn’t try on the exam which is why it was deemed invalid but leaked anyway. Bryce also practiced since high school so he was probabaly a 92-95. Not all 90+ scores will be good but it’s rare for someone to develop into an elite passer with a bad score. Allen scored a 95 which is why there was more optimism for him coming out of college. We will see with Anthony he’s started off better than I thought he would. He honestly shouldn’t be starting though. He should be on the bench for itleast two full seasons but it’s sink or swim time for him immediately. I mean he threw what? 3k yards in college with a 55% completion? No way he should have started right away.

COLTS are 0-2 with an 11% chance to make the playoffs, If they go 0-3 there is only a 2.5% chance to make the playoffs and only 6 teams have ever done it. Do or die for them vs. the Chicago Bears. Another problem for the Colts is that there will be a lot of Bears fans in their own stadium (Lucas Oil Stadium) in Indy. Things are not shaping up well for the Colts. This is a loss.

@harpoon_bakery162 I cannot, in any way, imagine the Colts making the playoffs. Even if they fire Gus Bradley today. @harpoon_bakery162 that match up is a good measuring stick. I even think the Colts could finish 2nd in the division. But look at the AFC as a whole, by division. Not better than the Texans, Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders (maybe), Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Patriots, Steelers, Ravens, Browns, Bengals. That's a lot of teams who are currently better to way better. Making the playoffs for the Colts in my eyes is a 0% chance in the AFC

He looks very mechanical. A QB is supposed to be playing loose, analyze the safeties scan from left to right pre-snap, use hand gestures to get people in the right spots, and just have a general command. He just doesn't have ANY of that. He's just so tight looking, just uncomfortable. He sees a d-lineman coming at him and he's in total panic mode
