In honor of Halloween, I decided to watch The Purge movies and it got me thinking. If crime was legal for 12 hours like in The Purge movies, how could you come out on top? How can you WIN the Purge? Matpat thx for the like but, I have a theory idea for you. It's a lesser-know youtube series, but I think the hidden meanings and themes throughout it would make great theory fodder. The series is by a guy named "Dead Sound" and the series is called "The AutoDale Series". It is a dystopian series that brings up some serious ethical ideas and themes. Please do a theory on it. The only flaw in your plan is that you're not accounting for the fact that people aren't going to just accept you taking the bodies of their loved ones and harvesting them for organs. Someone is absolutely going to identify the vehicle that comes out every year and collects bodies to take to a human chop shop, they're going to find out who you are and they know exactly what vehicle you'll be driving and what routes you like to take. You'll be making just as many enemies as the thieves will because you're also stealing something form those people, their friends and family members.

It was really cool to see your call to action at the end of the video for signing up for Be The Match Registry. I signed up to be a bone marrow donor in 2015 and in 2021 I was matched with a 25 year old female with aplastic anemia. I ended up having the surgery in Washington DC after they flew me all the way from Indiana. I am proud to say my marrow saved her life, she was about to be declared terminal and was given months to live, and now she is in remission to this day. So cool to see this being referenced. Not going to lie, I didn’t see it coming after watching this video 😅

one problem: possession after the 12 hours would still be considered illegal. you gotta get those bodies cut up and sold FAST. meaning you need to communicate a deal BEFORE the purge and if your caught your done

Fun extra fact btw: Kidneys not only are wanted for those on the list, but there amount of people who are not allowed to even MAKE the waiting list for a Kidney is quite high. Age and lifestyle attribute to a massive amount of people just not being eligible. So you could theoretically harvest extras and sell them for much less to people who aren't on the list.

One thing you didn't take into consideration, is that the people who you sell the organs to also don't have to follow any laws. They could (and probably would) just take organs without paying, and there will be very little you can do. Sure you could fight them, but there is no guarentee you'd win. You also would most likely not have anything to protect yourself because you weren't planning on fighting and even if you win, you would have the problem from before again: crimes wich could be traced back to you. On top of that, i doubt anyone would use their purge searching for organs to buy, when the potential buyers could also just enjoy their own purge, do things wich would benefit themself, and if they do want some organs, why don't they just get them themselves? There are tons of dead bodies lying around, after all, why buy it from some random guy when you can also get them for free?
