Holy cow this came out before cars 3 did… AND CARS 3 SOMEHOW CAME OUT ALMOST 6 YEARS AGO? HOW 6 YEARS AGO?

One problem I have with this is the fact that in the Planes movie, which takes place in the same universe of cars, they actually are made of mechanical parts (I know I’m late, but better late than never)

Can't say for sure how this would fit in but a Pixar/Disney series that came out after Cars3 called "Cars on the Road" (can see it on Disney+), in one episode Lightning & Mater visit a museum with car dinosaurs & they mention quite a few prehistoric creatures. Would love to hear how that would fit into this theory lol

Just a small question, in cars 2, the cars go inside planes and trains, with a normal interior, but they're still alive, how does that work?

I always thought they were like a cyborg, if their engine didn't work they'd be alive, but they'd also not be able to move, and if they died their engine might still be capable of running.

This is my first matpat theory I ever watched and it is crazy how I watched a film theory for my first theory and not a game theory.

Hey I think you overlooked some information in Cars 2 the way they catch the bad guy is by looking at his motor and saying that he has the wrong air filter or some thing like that and it shows videos of the car with the hood open and the engine and everything else

So, on the topic of your timeline discrepancy, allow me to propose a solution: BnL, as suggested by the Pixar Theory, was an AI capable of surreptitiously taking over the world, re-designing machines to counter _extremely powerful_ organic individuals, _and_ can both manipulate humanity into leaving Earth _and_ give them the means by which they do so, designing extremely advanced and _self-sufficient_ starships. It is also suggested that animals, and possibly inanimate objects like the Toys, eventually rose up against humanity. What if... BnL was _behind_ that uprising? The very reason BnL needed to give humans a way off the planet - to leave it free _for the machines_ - was a war orchestrated by BnL itself. And the choice of supersoldier? The bridge between two otherwise unconnected factions with a shared enemy? _The Cars species._ A type of genetically-engineered super-insect created with the idea of internal machinery in mind. They need food for their organics, they need lubricants for their cybernetics, but in exchange? Beetles with heavy metal armor plates, able to storm human fortifications and sustain heavy small-arms fire without danger. Tiny bio-machines capable of independent, _quiet_ flight for use as espionage or assassination operatives. The greatest warriors for this war, and the perfect liaison between two factions whose relations... would otherwise be _critically_ strained because the very pollution animal-kind fights against is being done _by these machines._ And once humanity is driven off? The Cars no longer need the animals to win the war. They drive _them_ out, possibly under the subconscious/instinctive direction of the BnL AI, with their pollution and their superior battle capabilities. But eventually, the resources to sustain their population run out. They wither, and they die before all animal-kind can be annihilated, with small pockets of non-insect (for fear of the Cars) animal life hidden across the world. Maybe a small few of these Cars survive, devolving as they must back into more simple beetle forms _like the Cockroach we see in Wall-E._ But those beetles, they _still_ have the engineered genetics that gave rise to the Cars. So, when organic life is restored to primacy on Earth by Wall-E planting the tree, those insects still have the enhanced genetics necessary for their increased longevity and heightened intelligence to be able to create and use machinery. Those latent and only _rarely_ active genes start to reawaken over the generations as their machinery becomes more and more advanced, until - as proposed by the Pixar Theory - they evolve into the Monsters and discover the power of time travel through wood.

What if every Pixar movie is actually Andy dreaming about the things he used to play before when he was young, that explains some Easter eggs about other Pixar movies that appear in every movie. And BnL could be the company Andy's dad works for , that's why we never see him in any movie and that's why only the name of the company appears , because Andy misses his dad but doesn't remember what he looks like.

And it makes even more sense as there was a cockroach in Wall E that survived so it must have evolved lol.

His intro became a game for me to match the two holes in the 5 4 3 2 1 thing and i nailed it
