So glad to see so many of you liked this more "laid back" style. It helped us get the episode out same week, rather than weeks later after all this was relevant! That said, seeing a lot of comments about the green screen, lighting, and background, so quick note: I had to film while traveling, meaning stuff was a bit rougher than it normally would be. Shouldn't be a problem in the future!

Especially when your torso is short and the seatbelt can't adjust properly in the first place.

@@rosyk.6317 Rick's action in killing the jelly bean king wasn't to save him, because he wasn't in danger of dying, plus the molestation had already happened so there's no saving him from that, but he killed him because he loves Morty, and anyone else would've done exactly the same. And, as we all know, actions speak louder than words, so he doesn't need to say nice, sympathetic things to Morty, he just has to show he cares through his actions... which he does. All the time.

Well said MattPatt. I was initially thinking that Morty would basically spend the rest of his days on an Alien planet inside an Alien lifeform being shown the death image of Jessica saying "I love you Morty" as the Crystal's ultimate prediction. I think Morty realizes that in the end and realized also that he needs to think for himself like Rick told him and Summer at the beginning of Season 2.

What I like most about your new style, is one most evident when compared to other YTers; it seems like you said (at least) most of it in one go. No cuts. Some of your colleagues are almost notorious when it comes to cuts, and they seem not to understand how off putting their content becomes because of it. Very enjoyable. Kind of reminded me of a few things such as regular 'Film theory' + 'Fact Fiend' + '3 Minute Philosophy' + 'The Good Place' + 'The Take' as a mix. I personally would watch a lot more videos like this that even touched upon things like moral theories of moral philosophy as an explicit theme, or other areas such as economics, political theory, legal theory, psychological theory, etc.

I've seen this video multiple times, I just love watching this channel so I'd rather watch it again than any other new content. Thanks for putting in the hours for each and every video and thumbnail for our entertainment and for your profit. I’m not sure if they meant it that way, but when he said, “I thought I axed this protocol,” I took it as “Dammit, why am I not dead.” But with the hologram and the clone machine in the ship, it’s clear that he trusts and wants Morty to revive him. So if he really wanted to die, he would have disabled the hologram.
