WOW! There is so much more to making a truly good video than I ever knew. You are the director as well as the videographer. Great video doesn't just happen, there is a great deal of planning and preparation that most people don't consider. Very informative and helpful!
I like your comment on learning from the shots that didn't 'make it'. I've always found that I learn a lot from images and segments that are not 'perfect'. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Great video and i love the simplicity and clean edits which lets you focus on the story without having confusing transitions. Awesome job my friend. Your neigbour is so sweet and helpful.
Such an Inspiring person Zdenika! Sometimes we have so much to do that we forget how good it is to just go outside with a friend and use our gear to do something creative and beautifull wich is also a great gift to someone at the same time. Keep up with this simple videos wich are inspiring and can help someone learn the basics of shooting video. It's an art that with practice and some know how, it can give so nice results. And it's FUN! Thanks for sharing.
It is so nice to see that little clip, but it is even nicer to understand how it was filmed. It is really inspiring and motivating for me. Thanks for sharing.
So I’m using my iPhone 11 only and have a gimbal also. So right now I’m just watching your videos for the techniques and things I’ve never thought of before. Like shooting into the light.
Such a beautiful sequence you captured and put together! Wow!! I'd be interested also in videos with tips on how to film yourself in B roll. Thanks for all the awesome inspiration Zdenka :-)
@@ZdenkaDarula I agree that it will be tough and I think you will be needing a wifi module to be able to see on the phone what is being framed or recorded while the osmo pocket camera is far from you.
Zdenka Darula I am about to order the Canon M6 Mark 2 for my B roll camera, after days of research. I like the M50 form factor, but I already own a 5D4 and I need 4K with no crops this time.
You are so talented Zdenika. You are also a wonderful teacher! I am a professional oil painter with a passion for photography. I just bought the M6 mkii after watching your review and love it. Last night I got a great shot of the comet, NEOWISE! I am happy to have found you as I plan to film myself in nature painting etc. So much to learn! Thank you for your generosity.
another FAN-tastic tutorial Zdenka! blessings and many good vibes to one and all from the Chilcotin eh, looking forward to enjoying a early morning break here and getting some knowledge on, smiles across the miles my friends, be well and enjoy the gift of the day! 8^)
I love this little short video you made I want to watch more of it. You are amazing editing this video. I which I can work with you shooting videos. Thank you!
Beautifully shot!! This is precisely why I only shoot stills. But, I really appreciate the immense amount of work and creativity that goes into a piece of short film. I just don't have it in me. LOL.
This is the great..great video I've ever seen. It's clear and cohesive. There are a lot of technique and your emotion in it. I hope one day you will hand on the canon eos R6. Thank you very much for your video.
Ahoj! I completely love it! Smooth and nice color graded. I’d love to see a similar b roll made with an iPhone. Is quite hard bring that bookeh feeling.
Fascinating video! At the same time very instructive, very clear, very deep. And it's nice to see someone who wants to make cinematographic images, and not one of these "epic cinematic b-roll" which are interesting technically, but which end up being only technical exploits without soul (just my opinion).
That was a great sequence🥇 How did Martina feel about being watched by thousands of people? Did you have to work to convince her to do it? I'd like to hear more about her career in the movie industry. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me to go out and shoot. 🥂
Hi David. I worked with Martina a few years ago shooting stock so she’s used to working with me. I asked her the night before if she would be interested and she said yes so I don’t think she had any problems with that. I wouldn’t certainly use a person which would show even a little bit of hesitation as I know from my experience it’s not worth it. I want to make sure the person feels fully comfortable with. 🎬📸🎥😊
Zdenka Darula Well it looked great. I haven't had the opportunity to work with someone that comfortable with video (except myself). It's always the hands people have trouble with what too so with them. 🥂
Ahoj, supr kontent.
Hey Zdenka. Awesome work. I bought canon m50 wiht kit lens and ef-m 22mm f2.0 about couple months ago and I wonder what kind of settings of focusing did You use for this film? the 22mm focusing pretty much faster than kit lens, but still I can't reach results that i want. Any tips? And yeah, I've already seen your video about focusing modes in canon m50. Greetings from Poland :D
Hello…. I would go as low as possible with Aperture so F/2.0 and iso 100, shutter speed 1/50 if you film in 24 . If you film in 60fps then 1/120…. And use VND filter and that is all….. that should do it. Many greetings back to Poland
@@ZdenkaDarula Okey thanks for the advice, but did You use zone autofocus (for B-roll) like You said in video about focusing or single point autofocus for this video?
Love your video 💕 Your M50's footage is crisp and noiseless. I've got an issue with my M50, sometimes the footage is grainy (mostly shadows) even on low ISO like 100, 200. Do you know what can cause this and how to resolve this problem? Have a great one!
