Great review! I tested the X-S10 for the last month and now that I sent it back to FujiHQ I'm sincerely thinking of buy it fot myself, despite being a Canon user for the last 10 years! As you said, in this price range there's no other camera with the same quality and bitrate as the X-S10!
I was considering EOS M6 ii , then I landed on this video. This is so much better than M6. The only things that stopping me is that Fuji lenses are quite expensive.
@@jiteshpujari1 Last year, after I wrote that comment, I bought the X-S10 and I'm so happy to have done it! Fuji lenses are expensive, but for example I have the XF 18-55mm and it's on another level compared to other standard lenses. Being a Canon shooter I also purchased the (expensive) Fringer EF-XF adapter and now I'm using all of my old lenses with the X-S10!
@@Playerdue Nice. I am curious to know if you considered buying a speed booster instead of an adapter considering you already have a canon lens (assuming some of them would be full-frame lens). Also, how is the autofocus performance while using the adapter ?
@@jiteshpujari1 The performance of the Fringer adapter is great, I've been using it a lot with an EF 100mm macro, an EF 50mm f/1.4 and the EF-S 10-18mm, so far I'm very satisfied, I used the adapter also with video on f/1.4 and the eye focus was in par with modern fuji lenses for video. I prefer a simpler adapter because I don't was other glass elements between lens and sensor, my main focus is autofocus and image quality. 😁
@@Playerdue That's so good to hear that autofocus is still good with the adapter. before this video, I was thinking on the lines of the EOS M6 II + Viltrox Speedboster combo to get a full-frame quality performance. But this camera makes the decision very difficult for me as I can still use the ef lens with a speed booster. Damn!
How is the focus on this when videoing action scenes where lots of zoom in/out is needed as objects come closer, then away. Will there be lag as the camera tries to refocus based on focal length changing?
Thanks but you've been able to get a camera that can do pro level video for under a grand for years now from Panasonic and Olympus. Even the low end cameras like the E-M10 have 5 axis IBIS and the Mark IV shoots 4K 30fps.
I doubt like the Sony colors. I'm seeing most need to edit in post. The Sony A6600 has great video and that's what I need but will this camera compete with the Sony A 6100, 6400 and 6600 for video?
I love my x-t3 but this has me thinking about exchanging it. The ibis is a bit deal and other than the missing dials and nine weather sealed body the image quality is just as good if not better. Maybe 10bit internal will be added via update?
