Those notebooks are just neat and seemingly put together if you arrange them side by side. Figuring out a solid way to make your organizational method more effective can get very tricky, but somehow you managed to pull off a solution so seamlessly.
Great point! I LOVE the organizational features of the Filofax, but something about the rings bother me. They take up space or my hand touches them while writing on the pages, which makes me not like it as much...I'm thinking of trying it out in 2023 though. Thanks for commenting!

I just got my Jibun Techo Biz ($15 for 2022 version from Baum Kuchen) and I love it so much. It was subsumed 3 of my notebooks and I'm buying an A5 for work for 2023 and a B6 for work (I really like the B6 size more but I just have too much to write at work for it too function for me ;-;)
That's great that you're able to plan your planning for 2023 already! It's a good way to test things out. And that's my issue - lately I seem to have SO much to write (meeting notes, etc) in my planner - that there simply isn't enough space! I'm hoping my notebook + planner together combo will be helpful....I'll report back for sure! Cheers from DC.
Hi. I loved The Desk of Adam! To the best of my knowledge, Filofax have never sold the navy blue Original in the UK. I live here and if they sold it here I would have bought it! It’s definitely easier when you can walk into shops in your local town and buy the inserts, and I’m lucky that I can do that with Filofax. It will be interesting to see how your current planning system works out.

@@stationery.shenanigans Yes, I do use other brand refills, but being based in the UK it's easiest to get Filofax brand. And, yes, I've been wishing Filofax would sell their Navy Blue Original in their home country for at least 6-7 years but they seem very determined not to!

I was just looking at Filofax (again) today. I want to try one, but take the rings out. Rings take up too much space and have to look for proper inserts all the time. I wanted to use the cover just as a cover and use a Moleskine as an insert. The one you have is beautiful; that dark blue is really nice :)
What's that one company that has like a metal rod down the center, instead of rings? I know I saw someone have it on Instagram the other day but the name ALWAYS slips my mind (apparently they are run by the same company that does Traveler's Company USA?) - maybe that system would work well. The blue leather is great - looks professional - but the RINGS kill me!! I'm still going to try it out for something in 2023. I feel like I'm gonna have a few videos of "planning my planning"? LOL. Job had that really mini one with rings, it looked so great, but I don't know how he managed it
@@stationery.shenanigans I think you might be talking about the Roterfaden Taschenbegleiter, JetPens carries them. Also Travelers have the archive folders that are rod based for the inserts that are filled out and completed, for keepsake purposes :)
Filofax also sell leather notebook covers also known as folios which sounds more like what you are looking for. There are reviews on RU-vid if you search them out.
@@pamelaboxall7015 So I have two notebooks that I bought from Filofax in 2021, I wonder if those are what you are referring to. I will need to incorporate them in my next video :D The more I look at my Filofax planner sitting on my desk, the more I like it! I think I need to use it for 2023
