I really like their mechanic being a tradeoff of losing time rather than resources to replenish fallen soldiers. It could also lead to some interesting dynamics to the tug of war effect that the game's combat creates that none of the other species have.

Yesterday I bought your game. It's brilliant, no game has captivated me like this in a long time, I literally couldn't tear myself away even though I had to go to sleep to get up for work in the morning. I can’t believe you guys actually incorporated the way these ants carry their injured back to the nest. I thought that the Matabele would just have healers to heal on the battlefield. Now this is interesting and exciting

So flash heal probably might not be a thing or maybe its an upgrade... Seems like we might have to use these ants in unqiue ways in the formicarium challenge. Just a one minute video yet so much to take in.

Im so excited to play this. From the description, it seems like there will be a temperature mechanic, maybe similar to hibernation. So the ants have to stay underground during mid-day.

Otherwise, I'm glad that so little was revealed to us, but I'm interested in how the map, the queen and the scorpion you teased us will look like in the past roadmap. Otherwise, good job with the graphic pages, everything looks good, you only teased us a small part of chapter 5, so I can't wait, just don't rush it.

Slug Disco,you can either put termites as facion or upgrade to extra levels by using termites and reward termites as facion plis

This is so cool! I’m not sure how you’d possibly implement it into a game, but having something that uses mimicry to infiltrate ant colonies would be cool, as I know that there are species of beetles who send out the same pheromone as the ants use to signal “nothing to see here, just emptiness, move along” as a way to be able to just walk inside the ant hill and steal as much food as they like, since they’re “invisible” to the ants. It’s one of the things I’ve wanted to see in a game ever since I heard of it as a concept. Thank you for making this game, this is a game I’ve been waiting for since I was 5 years old and played Dungeon Keeper 2 and SimAnt for the first time, plus it’s a very good way to get some exposure therapy for my arachnophobia while having fun. Keep it up, just remember that you’re not ants and that you need time to rest, relax and recuperate every once in a while!

Hey there, not related to metabele ants but rather several questions about freeplay and difficulty: I'm trying to play freeplay basicly vs custom and vanilla colonies in survival mode but without turning enviroment too easy, once with every colony too, to experience them in a struggle and against other colonies. Anything above 200% difficulty reduces food which I don't like since cheating AI will be at a huge advantage, but starting at 200% and impossible difficulty keeping it constant is literally impossible. Rank 4 creatures storming a nest after just a few minutes can't really be defended. Ramping up wouldn't work in that either, since they reach far above 200% in the end even starting at 0%. Is there any chart to show ramping speed/percent per minute for the diffrent difficulties and or a chart to show which ranks spawn potentially which difficulty? Scaling with colony size is probably the cloests I could get this to work with. Does this include AI colonies or just the player? If I outscale the AI I don't want them to be crushed by nest invaders either. How does colony size scaling work in detail? Does it sum up your population eprcentage and puts it into difficulty or scales it higher/lower than that? Or maybe by Ants number? How does the "Random" difficulty work exactly? Does the maximum difficulty it can pick scale with time too? Do higher star creatures spawn after time, example, spending 1,2, 3 hours in a game constantly on 150% difficulty, or is the creature rank based on difficulty entirely?

Never heard of these ants which is kind of surprising to me because I know a thing or two about ants also I wish honey pot ants could have been added if you don't know what they are they have these things called replete these are plates are specialized workers that can eat so much that they're abdomen fills up like a balloon so basically they're just living refrigerators which would have been cool to see but I'm happy with what we got

Cool! I remember these were classified as... Army ants? If not than that's fine, I'm not an organic lifeform so I wouldn't know. It's also true that they call for help when injured.
