@@Psusanoo the light novel is going in a different direction of the web novel. In the light novel there's been multiple hints at rimuru being veldanavas reincarnation. Velgrynd said that rimurus abilities reminds her of her older brother, it was stated that diablo would not willingly work under anyone except veldanava, rimurus species literally has "star god" in his species hinting at him being linked to the star dragon veldanava who is a god of in tenshura also the final straw was Michel saying that he had finally found who he was looking for while looking at rimuru when rimuru devoured him and as we all know, Michel was looking for veldanava. The fact he said what he was looking for was in front of him is another hint that rimuru might be veldanava. Michel was also gonna say something else but he was already fully absorbed.
The reason for Rimuru not being happy with creating a Universe with recreations of his friends, kind of explains a possible reason for Veldonova to be missing from the world he created.

Rimuru can change his body to whatever he wants in other thing he can make a boy body psrt aswell as the whole reproduction system or he could turn himself humen do the deed with shion or whoever then turn into a slime then once his baby is born he could transfer it into half slime like him
I hope the LN improves upon his return. This sounds a little dull in comparison to some of the other overpowered battles. I’m also wondering how Rimuru will escape in the LN as well since he doesn’t have Mai’s ability when he gets shot out to the end of space/time.
I know no one asked, but my theory is that Rimuru will not be alone in EOS and will run into Yuuki and Laplace, the writings makes it very obvious they didn't die and Jahil's attack was said to be so powerful that it could distort space-time, so the both of them surviving by arriving at EOS and Rimuru running into them just seems the perfect convinient setup Yuuki would be into. Plus I can just see Yuuki interupting Rimuru in his lamenting with his cheeky smile, only pissing him off but in a funny way, and Yuuki will tease him about it. Once they settle their differences, the plan to go back will involve their cooperation, here's the idea - Yuuki in his time of service to Feldway analyzed and understood Mai's skill, "World map" but was locked because his Creator can't reproduce Ultimate level skills. - Ciel will use her Skill Alteration on Yuuki, basically transferring the Ultimate essence of Mammon by sacrificing it into Creator and create Ahura Mazda, also erasing the Manas inside Greed. - The data of "World Map" can now be recreated, and an other Ultimate Skill will be created and given to Laplace, Travel King [Mercury] (wished I could use the "Hermes" to match Tear's greek Orpheus... but Hermes already exists as a character so imma give it Roman name instead) While I'm at it, might as well tell what I think they will do, - I think Yuuki will be the one to kill Jahil and recreate Footman's ego with his creator, then rushed to Labyrinth, save Mai and the kids, and absorbs Vega's Azi Dahaka that went Ivarage Berserk and trapped everyone in the Labyrinth and free them, and restores the people Vega ate. However the power absorbed by Vega will released on its own kick the Ivarage out of him into True form - Rimuru crawsl in the shadows wih Ciel that changes the base Angelic/Demonic Skill System and finalized her new mostly Lovecraft one, meaning modifying Asmodeus, Belphegor, Gabriel, Lucifer, etc. Just protag stuff
I think rimuru got world map from Michael and the other angel borrowed that power from Michael that girls name is also Mai so there is a possibility that rimuru can return the same way
thats the most absurd and boring ending possible in my opinion In the first place,rimuru aquiring the powers himself is the best possible way to go and just like velgrynd,he may have to go on a journey through various dimensions,aquiring various abilities and manifesting as a SUPREME DEITY
@@CIEL_SENSEI well he already has most of the ultimate skills in his skill bank as information thanx to Michael and he also got his subordinates ultimate skills in his skill bank thnx to the food chain it includes veldora since he also got rimuru's gift when he evolved so he is also connected tho i dont think he has velgrynd's newly evolved ultimate skill But i dont think feldway is the last boss its prob going to be ivraj or yuki because in wn it was rimuru faked his death so its possible yuki did the same in the LN and since yuki the antagonist in the WN it safe to assume that he is going to make a comeback

True but the light novel seems to be going in a different direction after the empire war. There's been so many hints that rimuru might be veldanavas reincarnation in the light novel. The hints are blatantly obvious in the light novel. For instance diablo being stated to not willingly work under anyone except for his creator veldanava, velgrynd saying that rimuru has similar abilities to her brother, rimurus species literally having "star god" in the species description hinting at a link to veldanava, milim being so attached to rimuru eventhough she had literally just met etc. The biggest hint in the light novel was in volume 19 when Michel looked at rimuru before he was devoured with gluttony saying that he had finally found who he was looking for which is a dead give away that rimuru is veldanava since we all know damn well that the person Michel was looking for and trying to revive was veldanava. The fact Michel looked at rimuru before he was about to die and said he finally found who he was looking for is arguably the biggest hint we've gotten. He was also about to say something else to rimuru after that but he was full devoured. Also don't forget that rimuru says in the light novel and I quote "I feel like someone else entirely at times and then that feeling just vanishes". The hints in the light novel is alot more than the ones in the web novel. I think the light novel is gonna literally make him veldanava instead of him just being veldanavas successor like in the web novel.
You know I don't get why the contents differ I was reading a light novel where yuuki was not powerful like this and there where people like feldway and Michael so I don't get which on is which now
This is a Web novel, Web novel is basically a scetch before doing full drawing. Anime follows Light Novel, and although I recommend reading both, Light Novel is said to be better.
