My wife and I have stopped by that little cemetery several times over the years. There is, or at least was a picnic area near there. I too have noticed that one man's grave and remember commenting on him having fought through the entire war, only to die in the final charge. Thanks for the video. Very well done. I'll have to tell you about my wife's "ghost experience" at Sayler's Creek sometime.

I appreciate that. Thanks for watching. I personally felt that this was one of my rougher videos editing wise. I’d like to think I’ve improved since this.

New to your channel and going through and watching all the great content. What I liked and found really interesting is the story of the Alabamian soldier who fought the entire war only to die hours before it ended and just a few yards from where it ended. These individual stories really help bring home the personal aspect and impacts of the war. Keep up the good work!!!

Please allow a correction. You kept saying "Calvary" which is where Christ was crucified. It's "Cavalry" the placement of the L is different. I realized that I once did the same thing!

I didn't want to be the one to say it but +1, it was driving me crazy the whole way through.

Narrator also says Custard instead of Custer quite a few times.

That was very informative. We hear about the surrender but not much on the last gasps of resistance
