Hey guys I'm just documenting my experience with this hip surgery so that it may one day help other out who have to go through the same thing or something similar. I hope you find this video useful.
My ankle surgery was 11/17 & my cast got taken off on Tuesday (18 days without a shower…. I didn’t realize how gross I actually felt until I got out of the shower after washing off my body but didn’t wash my hair because I was getting it done by a friend at a salon a couple hours later… Oh my god my body felt clean and my head felt so gross for those couple of hours)! I had my first PT today and I feel like I’m in a lot more pain tonight I guess that’s normal. They sound healing really well but my knee hurts on my good leg now and my lower back pain is so much worse…ugh. It seems like in PT they should not just work the injury area but the other areas that have stiffened up because of the way you have to sleep in the way you have to move being so thrown off. I don’t know if they just don’t do that here or if they don’t do it anywhere.
