To be honest, at the end of LR, when Alexander appeared to help him alongside Odin, for me it was awesome.

Note he’s the only one with the eidolon the same sex as he is.

Alexander summon is pretty iconic, loved him in ffvi, ffix and here of course

Just my opinion but probably the most retarded summons of all final fantasies I've seen so far. Looks like they run out of ideas and decided that turning summons into megazords would have been a good idea🤦‍♂️

When I played it I was sure that it was impossible to do worse than that. Then i played FFXV. Summon are very nice, but you cannot summon its.

me too, I watched my brother beat ff7 and star ocean and all that, this was my 1st ever one I tried and I loved it until I got stuck on tat giant turtle thing at the start of disc 2.. this was like 15 years ago but I still remember I quit the game cuz I couldn't even do 1% of damage to him before he stomped and 1 shot my whole crew... Still wonder what the trick was to beat him cuz i was farming levels for a month and still couldn't touch him... Super crazy choice by devs too I bet so many people quit there too, I loved the game tho, beautiful art style but putting a boss like that, with ungodly health and a 1 shot attack it spammed was a dumb decision.

If FF 13 was your first FF then that’s just insanely sad

Their background graphics ran at 60 fps. In FFXIII-3 they only ran at 30 fps.

@Quæsitor修行 FFXIII can't be remade, it's a massive effort and not many players will buy the game because the corridor-like maps were everywhere. This was one of the main problems the game had and it was present in the second game too. Fortunately, LR showed Square learnt the lesson and it was a great game imo.

The game had a good story but it was so linear it could drive you crazy. The battle system honestly surprised me a lot but the fact your character died in battle meant game over sucked a lot, not to mention the impossibility of visiting previous locations in disc 1-2

@@juanjosedelpinorivas7099 what was surprising about the battle system.. once you had the right paradigms set it was 90% auto.

@@user-wy1et9dk9w In the moment you used appraisal twice, the AI would automatically use the best attacks to deal with any enemy. The Adamantoises became jokes as well as the Long Gui. By that time, the only thing that really will slow you down to get 100% of the game is how long it's going to take before you get a Platinum ingot from the Adamantoises or Long Guis to sell it and get 120k guils. It's quite stupid you couldn't get money otherwise but selling items and not at the end of the battle like they did in the sequels or in other FF games, making the grinding extremely RNGbased and boring.

Had to use Vanille a few times because of Death, and if you time it right and switch her to being a Comando Death's damage will increase. Though I did try each of the party members as the lead save Snow.

Fang was the only cool character in the game

I had to slow down the fight to win. It was long and grueling but I won in the end. If I had to rank the easiest eidolons to the hardest then it would be Snow's, Lightning's, Sazh's, Fang's, Hope's, and Vanille's. The last three lowkey licked my ass and I am like "why me!?"

@@Ferryie I only had to restart Vanille's once because I needed to make sure the role were how I wanted them, and beat the others on the first try as it does give you hints as to what you should be doing in the battle. Hint: there is a reason you don't get that many skills in the other three roles. Each of the characters primary roles are what the Eidolon wants to see.

More like every time vanille spoke was awkward. I always played this game when i was alone because of the weird sex noises she always made. Her character or back story was just bad

@@Nohrellas If you dont think FF7, FF8, or FF10 are the best in series people will question you. My personal Favorite FF is FFIV but FF13/13-2 is second favorite. People love FF8 and think its best but I for one dislike it. If you try to be different in this series people will automatically hate it. Im not trying to say FF13 doesnt have its faults (One being its extremely slow start, which even I hate) but people hate on it way too much.

Missed opportunity

Honestly it has my fav combat in the whole series, the music is phenomenal too. Particularly because it wasn't even composed by the genius that's Uematsu, so it being as good as it is is an achievement.

People jumped on a hate bandwagon because it was fashionable. While the game was linear and the story all too short, I did appreciate the character development and interactions and loved the overall theme. I'll take this over XV any day.

Gilang[希望の戦士] I played it when it first came out and thought it was ok, with the Gran Pulse stuff being incredible but it of course didn’t cone until the end of the game. I replayed it recently and I thought the whole thing was an amazing experience. Very underrated.

It just a matter of opinion really. I actually liked both summons, but I do hate some aspects of them. Ff13's summons is a cool concept in of it itself, a transforming eidolon is pretty cool in a way, but I feel like the execution couldve been way better with better designs. What really bothers me the most is shiva's design because it basically looks like snow is having a three way. Ff15's summon are also cool and have the awe factor to them. I feel like the designs are done better in this one and you can actually somewhat feel the powers of the astral when you are able to actually summon them. The only flaw is the availability of them and the RNG of getting certain summons you wish to see, which makes the summon system really dumb. Of course, the reason is because the astral are actual characters themselves and would not come on noctis' command willy, nilly. Nonetheless, it is still pretty stupid to rely on RNG to get your summons.

Shiva from FF X da best. You can't beat that casual hair toss, when she breaks from the ice. XD But yea, I feel ya, Shiva sisters combining into a bike is also a badass sight.

@@Croftice1 i love her FFX version as well.. but damn I'm still amazed at Shiva's FFXIII summon, and design.. tho, power-wise FFXIII's shiva might be one of the weakest? I mean the way they generate their ice is so slow and short ranged compared to the other version.. but has the bike mode tho 😅😂

Vanille's ultimate is the most powerful one because it doesn't reset the stagger gauge

I used them only like here against the Long Gui and to avoid death. They're pretty useless actually.

@@Nohrellas Not necessarily. If you are a ravager Army of One it's great to speed up chain bar and Death could hit for 999999 damage to Long Gui if you changed to Commando right after choosing Death.

Actually, in many summon scene, Vanille x Hecaton ultimate attack is totally orgasm voice, that's make me doesn't want to use Hecaton ultimate attack to finish boss if possible ~

What are u talking about, FFX is way older and had better summon animations, the summons in FFXIII look like scrap metal compared to it.

But I'm glad you spent the time to check out FFXIII and not understand that the metal is the aesthetic of the summons. Not that you would notice that because you can only judge based on FFX. Sahz's summon: Brynhildr turns into a car Hope's summon: Alexander turns into a wall/mini fortress Fang's summon: Bahamut turns into a dragon Vanille's summon: Hecatoncheir turns into... a mountable turret?

@@rainbowgaming4798 I never caught the other sister's name, just called them Shiva sisters (kinda like the "Arcees" from Bayformers, in G1 Transformers there was only one Arcee and while Chromia and Elita One also existed, they never formed a siblings trio, but then came Michael Bay with his Arcee Sisters, so yea, same story with Snow's Eidolon duo).
