FINAL FANTASY 7 RIBIRTH - Aerith and Cloud Romance Dating Scene (4K60) 

Aerith is such a beautiful character. she's acting "weird", as Cloud says, bc she knows she only has this little bit of time left and she wants to spend it having fun with him, but he thinks it's just a normal day. you can see how happy she is when he says "next time" because it means he would spend another day on a silly date with her. she thanks him for all he has done to change her life, then says goodbye and prepares herself to be the hero for him and the world, even if it costs her that next time with Cloud. it's so sweet and innocent, in the same way the original game was in these moments. 🎀💚 all my love today to Square Enix for a beautiful story twice.

Guysss this is OG Aerith that’s why he says “this isn’t you”: this isn’t the Aerith that this particular Cloud knows and that’s why he finds she’s acting weird! this is the same Aerith as in Cloud’s resolution scene. That’s why she says “I’m always putting my foot in my mouth, when will I ever learn?” she’s referring to when she told cloud not to fall in love but he does, just like now he has to look up because she told him not to. Sephiroth even says “so this is where you’ve been hiding?” cause he knows her from OG and he’s like ah hah, found ya! I cried and screamed so so much my mom was COMCERNED

I feel that Cloud is the only person that she sees Aerith in her most vulnerable moment. That's why shes open to him. And for Aerith to give Cloud the holy materia means alot: its the key to control the whispers and to stop the meteor. I love Cloti, but I will always love how beautiful the writing is for Aerith and Cloud. Its their trust for each other and their determination to end Sephiroth.

Aerith wanted to spend some time with Cloud before THAT happens, so as the song says, I'll believe in the chance of Cloud and Aerith finding each other at their spot. I knew she loved him more than just friends, she really “likes” him, you can see how much she has suffered and she just wants clouds comfort, she wants to be with him, but she doesn’t want to hurt him, wished cloud was more open to her and I’m sure he wants to, but she did tell him not to fall in love with her 😪 man this stings right in the feels

The way they interlaced fingers when they held hands!! 😭💕 It’s a direct callback to their Gondola date! That would make the date the most accurate and correct choice to work story-wise.

It's 1:29 am and I'm crying so badlyT^T. I can't stop my tears from falling. I just love these two and this hurts so much.

Gonna say it once. Cloud and Aerith have a good chemistry. Same with Cloud and Tifa. Personally, both these female characters are amazing. One signifies innocence while the other signifies maturity. There are not a lot of situations where I could accept either pairing, but this... is one of them. CloTi and ClErith fans... don't destroy this masterpiece like how the ship wars destroyed Naruto. Really... treasure this game and the pairings.

For anyone wondering what was happening in this scene; Cloud is a no bullshlt type of guy he excels in combat situation but in social situations he sorta comes out short😅He doesn't play games but they always tend to find him. He didn't understand at the time that this was Aerith's last moment with Cloud, she wanted to spend the last few moments with him and confess her genuine feelings for him so she created a "mind space or mental plain" where she had the power to do that so she created a dream-like scenario where they both went on a date, clueless to Cloud.😂

I love how Cloud can easily say what he thinks when he is with Aerith.

Cloud and Aerith are soulmates. They're going to have their happy ending finally, I just know it. He wouldn't be searching for her in every universe if she wasn't his other half. 💕

Cant believe folk lied about this scene (in leaks) saying Cloud/Aerith didnt care that much while posting a few screens from it. Sweet release to see it was mostly fabricated, very bittersweet final moment.

Imagine Cloud in Part 3 when he finally figures out everything. He's already a complete mess at the ending of Part 2. It's supposed to make you feel regretful but sheesh.

Aerith found a way a to bring both herself and Cloud’s souls into the other timeline where Zack is alive, albeit temporarily. How else do you explain why our Cloud with his memories of the original timeline, wakes up in the same wheelchair and bedroom where Zack left him in the other timeline? And also, Marlene in the other timeline warns Zack then when Aerith in this timeline wakes up, Sephiroth will try to kill her, which is what he tries to do when he enters the church here. Sephiroth very clearly has the ability to exist in multiple timelines at once, like a bizarre anomaly. But Aerith seems to only be able to have her waking consciousness in one body at a time. Perhaps by her dying for good in the current timeline she ‘wakes up’ for good in Zack’s timeline.

Now is no longer 1997 the value, the mindset and global environment totally different. people need more positive and faith for good. Multi ending in part 3 would be more appreciated than just let the player day dreaming in the DLC.

This video is non-romanced Aerith. Aerith's answer really depends if you romance her or not - she confirms your relationship if you're only friends or someone with mutual feelings with. I see a lot of people confused with this that's why there's shipping wars lol the translator had a hard time translating the word "Suki" in JP. It literally meant I like you or I love you, hence the translation. Now depending if Aerith is romanced, Cloud's answer when Aerith asks him "Next time?" is different. It may seem small but in context, Cloud says "Yeah, Next time" in JP "Yeah as friends". The official translation was "I mean. Why not?". (this video) If you romanced Aerith, Cloud says in JP dub "Mochiron" which is also hard to translate like "Suki", but in the context it means "I always have time for you. of course." The official translation was "Yeah. Next time." It really depends on the players choices.

Now, I have seen both Tifa and Aerith dating scene. I find both scenes are so beautiful that I feel unfair if I choose one of them, so I prefer Cloud X Barrett scene. You all know if Cloud given a chance to do polygamy, he will never hesitates to take both of them 🤣🤣🤣. However, I m more interested with Tifa and Aerith friendship, a friendship that does not last long enough, ended with Aerith death but for me far more valuable compare to Clerith and Cloti shipping.

My theory is that this is the Aerith who has already died at the Forgotten City altar. She's able to live on through the lifestream and communicate to Cloud through dream worlds she can conjure. The "you can't fall in love with me" dream from Remake and this scene both take place in the same dream reality which is shown by both scenes having odd phenomena in the sky and Aerith being surrounded by green lifestream in Remake, she has already died to Sephiroth. She's possibly able to create this dream world whilst she's asleep in Zack's timeline but she cannot wake up as Sephiroth will instantly be able to find what world she's broadcasting in and kill her making her less powerful and unable to pass on the white materia to Cloud here. This is her final goodbye to Cloud ever as once she hands over the materia to Cloud her duty is done and Sephiroth tracks her down (Sephiroth is able to see these dreams through Cloud's eyes due to their connection so the second she starts broadcasting the clock is ticking to when Sephiroth will track her down). She decides to spend one last good day with him in Sector 5 before sending him back with the white materia and ensuring that past her can cast Holy at the Forgotten City. Sephiroth comes through the door and kills her (possibly killing her in Zack's timeline where she is projecting this from as well) and she returns to the lifestream once more but unable to communicate directly via dreams to Cloud ever again. This is why the "next time" line breaks her and why everyone is talking about running out of time, this is her dream world and the NPCs know this is her last day with Cloud.

I hate ships, why can't people just enjoy the game without starting unnecessary fights? All the moments with Cloud and each character are beautiful, reading the comments just makes me resent certain characters. I remember in 1997 when people just talked about how wonderful the game was and ships didn't exist.
