it's been years since I've watched these. this is by far the best psp game to ever exist. while everyone loves all the homaging to the original games dissidia was able to boil it down to the protagonist and their antagonist. each of these 10 warriors all had their own paths to follow and their own lessons to learn. in a strange way they show 10 different ways that conflict arises throughout humanity. I)destiny II)faith III)strength IV)balance V)freedom VI)belief VII)free will VIII)perseverance IX)altruism X)blood.

Am I the only one who wants an HD remaster of duodecim for the PS4? Along with crisis core Edit: we got a crisis core remaster, NOW WHERE'S THAT DUODECIM PORT!!

I really like the FFX one. Just the character personalities shining through, and the dripping venom coming from Tidus saying ‘There IS no tomorrow for me!’ just sounds awesome.

I like the fact that, even being on one side of the war or the other, all of the characters had their own objectives that they pursued.

Anyone notice that several characters pose like they did in their original artworks? Not in the games, but the art on the covers. Firion and WOL do 100% recreations of theirs.

The Tidus vs Jecht one is easily the best. Despite being a spin off, you can consider that scene canon as it would fit perfectly within FFX.

I love all of these but I gotta say, the fact Bartz can hold the Buster sword one one hand, and also wield the gunblade.. thats one strong dude. In the end they are all pretty awesome ^_^

FF10 is my favorite followed by FF1. I like the whole scene a lot with his dad stopping to talk to him, going to spare him thinking he’s still weak and then right as Tidus gets back up that awesome music kicks in.... just.... SO good

Anyone else feel like Squall vs Ultimecia (and to a lesser extent, Onion Knight vs Cloud of Darkness) perfectly conveys what the heroes go up against when it comes to untouchable, god-like villains? Ultimecia herself comes off as someone with the power to simply end whoever displeases her, and shows it with her time manipulation and magic. The no-nonsense Squall on the other hand, doesn't make any cheesy friendship speeches and just declares his intent to end her then and there. With the others, it feels like they're fighting them *before* they become all-powerful, like with Kefka and Sephiroth.

I suppose I should state my favorite then. Its undoubtedly Warrior of Light vs Garland, a straight up sword fight between equals, with awesome cinematography, and that music man, just great. Close second goes to Cloud vs Sephiroth though.

I just remembered these battle scenes because I'm playing through dissidia duodecim once more and I just get goosebumps each time I see these scenes and how they're determined to fight, and I'm just there ready to fight them back, I love this game so much. It is the best final fantasy game that brings the characters together, and I hope they get to do the same in a future game that does not suck (stares at dissidia NT)

I used to play this game all the time on my brother’s PSP when I was 6 years old. This was the best game my first grader self used to play even though I couldn’t understand the plot and most of the basic game mechanisms. They should make a similar version to this.

I'm still surprised that Chris Sabat was in this. This was pretty outside of his usual wheelhouse. Usually he only ever lends his talents to Funimation-based or OkraTron 5000 work. To see him on a project that has so many Los Angeles based actors that Square-Enix usually goes to, feels kind of surreal to me. I don't know if he's the only Texas-based actor in the game, but it's so weird to see him on something that's not a Funimation production.

the Squall vs Ultimecia one is essentially DIO vs Polnareff since both DIO and Ultimecia can stop time, and Squall's VA is also Polnareff's English VA.

I loved this game, but I liked the other one better, mostly because there where more characters and more costume changes.
