Final Fantasy Tactics Early Concepts Were Super Cool Looking 

Would love a 2DHD or sprite based style if/when the remake happens.

My god the Ogre Battle style art is so awesome. Have you all ever looked up the scrapped FFT2? I really hope the Tactics remaster is real.

It looks so damn cool! The blonde guy is probably an early concept of Delita if i had to guess. The hairstyle is similar.

I wish they'd let Matsuno/Sakimoto cook again, the Ivalice Alliance is one of my favorite parts of the Final Fantasy franchise and was what got me interested in history. Matsuno's team, Kaga's team (Fire Emblem/Kaga Sagas) and Murayama's team (Suikoden/Eiyuden Chronicles) all cooperating to make the ultimate political narrative RPG would've been so cool, but they're all old now, left to other companies or in some cases have even passed away :(

Giving us more of the same it's not bad per se, you just keep improving your formula and making sales. Put that FFT on the development cycle.

I think I prefer the current style, but this would be fantastic with a SaGa setup.

The Ogre Battle team joined Square when they bought out Quest. They went on to make Final Fantasy Tactics so it’s not surprising the mockups would be in the Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre art style. I’m still salty they killed the series. I enjoyed it more than FFT, although I had fun playing them I prefer the RTS style of Ogre Battle.

The one you said was Ramza look like a generic knight. The haircut kinda match with the fft knight portrait.

Ogre Battle but Final Fantasy and with amazing visuals. I know there are probably very good reasons they didn't end up making this but I'm still going to be angry.
