I'm honestly so thankful for someone uploading the next chapter in this remake so committed! The OG game was one of the first I played and loved as a kid. Unfortunately I don't have a PS5 so I can't play it. But I'm very thankful for your time and effort to post it for the FFVII fans. I'm nearly 5hours in. I'll have to continue it tomorrow. But seriously I just wanted to say thank you. This Made my day 😊
@@morfometa(actually he's probably not even Clerith, it seems like he likes Barret but we were lucky to get a Clerith video) And choosing the others shows who the canonical couple is 🤭
So Sephirot basically is explaining to us that there are multiple worlds and that happened because the boundaries of fate were breached... so I believe all that zack scenes were from multiple worlds, also Biggs holding a pack with different dog on it ,so that's different world too.
Sephirot is a Hebrew word. It means "worlds". The game was probably based on some superficial knowledge that some Japanese guy that on Jewish mysticism. It certainly is more complicated that anything presented in the game. Although, it could have also been based on shamanism but they decided to use sephiroth.
@@pianosonata5029 Sefirot (/sfɪˈroʊt, ˈsfɪroʊt/; Hebrew: סְפִירוֹת, romanized: Səfīrōt, Tiberian: Săp̄īrōṯ),[1] meaning emanations, are the 10 attributes/emanations in Kabbalah,[2] through which Ein Sof (The Infinite) reveals itself and continuously creates both the physical realm and the chain of higher metaphysical realms (Seder hishtalshelus).
i remember watching a breakdown of og with direct japanese translations a long time ago. it was always “what you cherish most” they just translated it right this time.
this game is a 10/10, and my head is spinning around with theories. there seems to be three things happening differently at the same time at the same place
Thank you very much. This is what i call an triple A final fantasy game, like old ps1,ps2,ps3 and some ps4 tittles, this brings these movie scenes well maded that make us more aware of the sittuation and wanting to play more😊
I keep seeing hints of what could be Machinabridged references, and I keep dismissing them as "nah just a coincidence," but 1:45:18 "you remember Emilio?" and "YOU were Ramirez!!" are too much to not notice.
So many timelines... so many possibilities... so many headaches 🤣 excited to see how it turns out in the next game (hopefully not too long). My theory is that Sephiroth is planning to combine all the timelines into one since all the other timelines are roughly the same outcome that he dies. Aerith on the other hand is trying to stop it from happening that's why she had to die? In order for her to connect to different timelines since the lifestreams are all "connected" somehow... So I believe what she's or the whispers trying to do is bring Zack over to Cloud's timeline and defeat my man Sephiroth and everyone lives happily ever after... Deepground? who cares but pretty excited to see how Genesis, deepground, The Weapons (Omega,Chaos,Ruby etc) and Vincent are gonna play a role in this. God my head hurts just thinking about the possibilities of all these ties in together into 1 big pile of Mako.
Sephiroth in Rebirth: What do you make of this, Cloud? Is any of it real? Or is it all just a fever dream? Sephiroth in Remake: Careful now, that which lies ahead DOES NOT YET EXIST.
Now these "white" Whispers are supposed to be Cloud's personal Whispers making him think he's in a timeline where Aerith's spirit brings him the last pushes to push away the actual timeline occurences? As compared to the regular Whispers who have been the Final Fantasy VII fanbase, white is a color of purity, which also means it's of a "brighter" view. As Zack lives in another timeline of altered events... It can be without doubt that he will connect one more time for the Reunion, maybe.
I think it's Aerith, the Aerith of the original timeline, who died long ago and went back in time, like Sephiroth. She is using the lifestream to influence the whispers I guess.
It looks like she was the one who went back in time to spend more time with Cloud, if you look at Marlene's words, you can understand that, and it's obvious that Zack will be in the next game because I'm thinking that he's literally the hero of that one. poem from Genesis, but I find this romance between Cloud and Aerith strange because in the first game he literally loves Tifa and now he has some kind of feeling for Aerith, strange, but the game is very good now I'm thinking maybe Zack, who knows exactly what's going to happen, will try to change something because it looks like he's back to part of his game because the flowers are intact
@@lafranhudo. Even in the original Cloud gravitates more to Aerith during the first part of the game, while he is influenced by "Zack's" persona, it's until he gets his true self back when he realizes what he feels for Tifa and gravitates more to her.
Damn, ff7 was already convoluted as is, but this takes the confusion to a whole new level and unfortunately in the process, lessens the emotional impact of the original story. I'd rather feel sad over Aerith's death, than feel confused about it
I think anyone that has played the original already is not going to feel as much impact as playing it for the first time. We are all already expecting it just like Aerith’s character is. Which is why she is at peace with her own death.
I would rate this game 0 out of 10... and I'm from the group of those who played the original more than 70 times starting in 1998... I find already hard for me to watch these scenes... I wouldn't play this game nor the previous one.... it lost everything... they turned characters such as Sephiroth, Rufus, Dyne into something so out of place and so bad.... this FF7 Remake entire project is a non sense and just something to sell... nothing more...
@@fabio.g.3259 I personally think they did a better job at fleshing out these characters this time around. I think if you watched the ending of the original it shows Aerith just like she was in the beginning of the original so I think they did a good job of just building off that scene alone. They flesh out yuffie and Vincent as characters too which is what they didn’t get a chance to do in the original because the game was already massive. They have a bigger role this time around.
@@Gumshoe08 I think it's the opposite; it's not the 1:1 They thought Cloud was going to change the outcome in this game. Ending it on Aerith's death and him being useless kills the momentum Remake set up in the expectation of the audience.
love the detail in the flashback cutscene that if know what actually happened you still hear cloud's voice in the security officer and you can slightly see cloud's blond hair and its cloud basically pretending to be zack 9:30
Ty for making and uploading this. Sucks it’s not on pc or Xbox so I could play ,enjoy and follow the story. Been a fan since ff7 ps1. Glad you let us without exp the content.
I can't find the scene where Cloud drops Aerith's body into the streamlined stream?! That scene brought more tears than the scene where the group sat in shock over Aerith's death.
Great video...but why is suddenly so sped up at a certain point giving the characters squeaky voices? At first I thought I had pressed a different speed, but I hadn't, then I reloaded the page a few times, no difference. It stays really squeaky-voiced for a while before reverted back to normal? What's up? I appreciate the effort, thank you so much, but I absolutely had to skip through the squeaky-voice section - which is a shame!
If you played Crisis Core, If you watch 7 Advent children.. I think they remake like this as a connection. As Zack and Aerith return to the planet like spirits, at the movie of 7 advent children when fighting kadaj gangs, aerith and zack appeared for cloud to support him. They friendship bond is strong. Well, if Sephiroth still have his 2 friends around he might wont lost his mind at all. One thing for sure, Damn Hojo.
Thank you very much for this! I was going to play the game but now I don't think so. It feels very KH and I was hurt by the lack of Zack & Cloud scenes, specifically in Zack's timeline where Cloud is still sick. I really thought it would be more like the end of Crisis Core where you care for him and carry him but guess not haha ow the pain...oh well. I hope everyone else enjoys it especially everyone waiting for Cloti and Clerith. I personally am disappointed by how it was executed but not going to take away the joy from anyone else! (Also Rip Vincent and Cid unplayable oof)
@@Gumshoe08 Thing is I want to play this game because it looks fun, it's boring if I'm just waiting and theorize for what happens next since I'm immerse with the story.
Uhhh...Are there three time lines now? What's next?Well, then let's make a fourth one, where we will help Sephiroth not to move his mind in the library. We'll send Zach to a psychotherapist in advance to study so that he can help at the right moment and( or just not stand like a fool watching your commander sit in the basement for 7 days and giggle terribly).
The audio is really messed up in this video. Did you record this using the Elgato recording software? Sometimes it has these weird sorts of glitches. If you use OBS instead, they don't happen. Elgato software is garbage.
@lennstiggerson1704 The audio is sped up starting around the five hour mark. The characters all sound like chipmunks as a result. It's a common glitch with Elgato's recording software.
So basically this is what happensed. Long haired guy has mommy issues so he bully shy guy into ptsd, puppy guy helped shy guy to fight bully guy but bully guy just bullied them all over the place.
Lmao stop the cap. The most impactful moment in gaming history is when cloud said "i am the final fantasy" and continue to final fantasy all over the place.
A list of questions: 1) At what point does the scene in Intermission take place, where Zack came to Airith’s church and found out that she was not there, because judging by the amount of dirt on his face, he went to Midgar immediately after canceling his execution, without entering the church. (is there a third timeline here?) 2) Midgar was destroyed by a tornado, in Cloud’s reality he was not there, but he was in the pocket universe when we went to beat Seph at the very end of the remake (Did we beat Seph in Zack’s reality? Are the worlds somehow still connected?) 3) In the news they say that they are looking for a former soldier with a Buster Sword, and they are looking for him in the ruins of Midgar, i.e. It’s immediately obvious that this is not Zack, but Cloud (how many damn Clouds are there in Zack’s reality?) 4) How does time work here, because between the execution of Zack and the party’s departure from Midgar, at least a week or two must pass, while Zack, after the cancellation of the canonical execution, comes to Midgar at the moment when the escape from Midgar in theory should have taken place, but for him - It took at most half a day and a half.
Cloud and Aerith are so wholesome, I really love their chemisty. I got the guts that this time everything will favor them. 🫶 (Despite death they're inseparable)
Unfortunately, you're taking your desires for realities, especially as Rebirth goes even more clearly than the OG in the direction of the Cloti (for the sake of the story, Clerith would bé a pity).
I haven't seen the difference with the original in that regard. Even in the original Cloud gravitates more to Aerith during the first part of the game, while he is influenced by "Zack's" persona, it's until he gets his true self back when he realizes what he feels for Tifa and gravitates more to her.
did anyone have audio trouble about half way, when the golden saucers events take place just before the prison? the sound goes like mice or as if all the characters had taken massive helium ?
I don't know but for me it's just weird that Cloud doesn't use a buster sword. while fighting in in game then suddenly it changes when it comes to cgi. Sorry. HAHAHA ✌️ i just can't.
I really wonder what the point of ''real'' sephiroth inside a crystall in the northern crater manipulating stuff when we clearly have winged sephiroth from AC just doing whatever the hell he wants .. :/
So far, he's not necessarily from AC. Its just this version of the story has him seemingly aware of AC and any/all other stories/possibilities, and of the 'sacred timeline' that involves AC or at least the awareness that events would lead to it. He can still be the guy in the crystal that's tapped into the Lifestream. He still calls this world his own. Its just that his power level (or rather scope) is much wider this time. He's not just co-opting various 'clones', he's traveling with the Whispers and taking over them, and he's actively pursuing an early takeover of Cloud, etc. He's made more omniscient and so he's acting on that.
I am confused...is Aerith in both world dead...? And the Aerith Cloud tells to wake up is a third world? Or is Cloud just seeing things? I hate that the pov is from Cloud because he is a little wonky in the head. So I don't know what to believe.
Sephiroth in Rebirth: What do you make of this, Cloud? Is any of it real? Or is it all just a fever dream? Sephiroth in Remake: Careful now, that which lies ahead DOES NOT YET EXIST.
@@lennstiggerson1704 the video is over 11 hours so I don't remember at what moment it was but there was an audio issue at some point I remember but maybe it was fixed or something now.
I am so confused, so is Aerith dead or not? It seems like she is Dead, but only Cloud can see her like she is alive. So Cloud is seeing her alive but only through an alternative timeline? Everyone else cant see her. They are all grieving at the end of the game and Aerith walks past them like a Ghost in a way, Tifa is crying and Red XIII is sad but at the same time can sense her spirit. I have a feeling all roads lead to Reunion, as is FF7:Reunion is likely the title of the 3rd game I bet.
She's dead. He's either seeing her in communication with a now split off world/timeline, and/or she's spiritually speaking to him (and petting Red XIII who notices her from spiritual sensitivity). What appears to be true is that there's always been a multitude of worlds, all playing off at various points in various ways, so Aerith (and anyone) exists in all sorts of them, albeit mostly managed to follow an existing script by the Planet (itself probably responding to the FFVII Crisis against Jenova). Sephiroth has mucked up so much now that we have Cloud possibly making a reality where Aerith lived, but this isn't necessarily a good thing. They already named a game Reunion and its really not necessarily what's happening here. Hell, the new word here towards the end of the story has been 'Homecoming', not just Reunion. The next name may be largely suprising.
Hi sir, sorry to post that on this video, but you put walkthrough of Rebirth, could you put them back? I was watching them and I know several other people who were :((
Zack is suppose to be taller than Cloud but they look like the same height. Also , it looks like Cloud is saying something when he was holding Aerith. What was he saying, I wonder. At the end , Aerith eyes turned blue , like Cloud or am I mistaken?
