Okay so I got hit once but hear me out, it's kind of on purpose. During phase 3, Odin will use Temporal Imprisonment which freezes you. As far as I know the only way to avoid it is to use a limit break right before it so it hits you while you're immune. That's what I did with Yuffie. Problem is, Aerith's limit break can only be used if someone in the party is injured! The option is greyed out otherwise! So I put on a weapon with reprieve and allowed myself one mistake during the fight so I could survive that mechanic. But then uh... I kinda nuked Odin before he could do it so lol.
