For those who are confused: Deepground already existed during the events in FFVII. Weiss, Nero and the other members of the Tsviets too. Weiss and Nero appear in Crisis Core when they take Genesis with them after his fight with Zack in Banora. So Intergrade is playing at the same time that Cloud is in Midgar. Maybe shortly before or after. The fact that Deepground is already involved has nothing to do with an alternative timeline. It just makes sense when you look at the entire FFVII compilation. Under normal circumstances, Vincent cannot appear at all because he is still taking a nap in Nibelheim during Intergrade.

Red 13, cait sith & yuffie will most likely be playable in part 2, after intergrade, vincent is in the nibelheim arc which we’re not sure will end at part too & cid was at the end of disk 2 in the original so maybe Sonan is a prototype of how Cid will be as a placeholder? But i doubt he’ll be in part 2.

@@Sif3r There wasn’t any in Zack’s either. They were polygons. Then look at Crisis Core! They enhanced it and everyone cried! The problem was when Remake made Jenova’s blood purple, and the weird dust clouds around President Shinra and Barret’s wounds. It completely took me out of the moment, like they were sandbag dolls or something. Aerith’s death will be much more impactful if they don’t just clip a 3D sword through the model like 20 years ago, but actually enhance the tragedy.

I was quite disturbed as an 8 year old playing through that lol Love the Remake! But I do think the execution around Jenova lacked a little something the original had. dude, if you're never finish hard mode, it's insanely punitive and not even worth trying unless you have 90 days to study he game in & out. way to scaled to expert ff fans. I wasn't a fan and the hard mode solidified that stance... kinda sux because I LOVE Ys games stories...

I don't know if there is a time limit. But for the second question, yes. The free upgrade works with a used copy.

just inserting a ps4 disc to the ps5 (disc version) gives you a ps5 upgrade option to install, its not a digital upgrade so everytime you want to play it you gotta put in the ps4 disc
