Happy Valentine's Day (though chances are you're watching this later). Isn't this an apt upload? No? Well, doesn't matter, it's a fun piece to play either way :)
I've noticed that there aren't really any super great piano covers of the battle theme from FFX uploaded to youtube, so I decided to play a decent version myself. This is also actually the first recording (often I need many tries), so all went well!
Is what I'd like to say... Except there's one note that I completely missed 4 times in a row. The person who's able to write in the comments which note is false every time I play it (during a certain part of the piece), gets an internet cookie ^ ^
This is actually the original audio from my piano, with some added reverb. This is such a fast-paced song, with a lot of dynamic segments, so I didn't want to use a VST this time. Also, this isn't intended to be some kind of a perfect cover; in fact I only play random stuff with the left hand all the way through. The arrangement isn't entirely fixed, but I based it on one of my own arrangements of the piece back from 3 years ago. I'm aware the tempo is a bit fast, and there's no real bassline in the same way as there is in the original piece.
ANYWAY that's enough ranting about excuses for now. I might cover this again sometime in the future, a bit more professionally. I'll upload a synthesia tutorial in a week or so, with the false notes fixed and all. If you want to download this audio regardless of the flaws, here you go:
