I don’t understand why after this amount of time it’s still considered Dice “overhealing” and not Dice purposely MP draining during P3 transition and other downtime mechanics. There is not a single spec of healing that happens during transition, I have no idea why people just think he’s overhealing vs. indirectly causing wipes due to MP draining. It’s borderline griefing and and inexcusable in any raid group.

He already trying to put the blame on Wave when Dice was literally forcing Wave to heal through mechanics by himself because Dice was using his MP during down time. How do you blame the solo healer for not wanting to solo heal an entire team of 8 during one of the hardest content in the game. I am only a minute in and I am dumbbfounded. You can't gaslight people on the internet if you don't have any form of power over them. Put that shit in the biggest rules of the internet. It doesn't work like that.

There's an important distinction between sorry and scared. Sorry is when you apologize because you feel remorse, scared is when you apologize because you want to avoid the consequences of your actions. Rin doesn't seem very sorry to me.

If Dice knows even a tiny little bit of understanding how a SGE gameplay works, that mana wouldn't be going down unnecessarily. It's either she's clueless how to play SGE, or doing it for fflogs, or she's venting her frustration with Wave by wasting her mana out of spite(like "screw this I'm gonna play assuming Wave isn't healing at all"). Rin, on the other hand, needs to go quietly and play his own game. For attempting to seek spotlight in whatever he used to do, negative spotlight is now following him even if he doesn't want to. He needs to find and play with a social group, one that doesn't stream, and consider doing less streaming for himself as well.

No one is ever gonna read this, but I figured I'll put this here. Back in Anabaseios week 2 I subbed for a group in p12s that Rin also happened to be subbing for. I decided to open his stream and have it play in the background. He made some weird comment about how "that's an odd spot for the Summoner to send their raid buff." (I was the SMN) and just generally really negative, yet "observational" comments about my raid buff placement throughout the instance. Now, Summoner is NOT a hard class to play, especially in Endwalker. You prepull ruin, you pop bahamut, and you press the raid buff. It was a 30 second raid buff. For him to say something about my gameplay when I'm a one trick 99-parsing SMN was wild. So after the instance, I asked him in his chat if I was doing something wrong with my raid buff, and with his fake positivity bs he just says "uhh no, I didn't notice anything wrong, why? :>" actual loser. Since then, I've cleared TOP in PF and actually ended up getting a couple clears with Wave. Dude is one of the best ASTs I've ever played with, and I only realized he was THE wave blaze on like our 4th clear together lol.

i tried keeping up with this is and this is my understanding (sry if i'm misunderstanding Rin's and the Static leader's side cause their side is where my brain started frying) Static leader: Wave refused to communicate with his co-healer dyce Me: it looked like the other way around buddy. Seemed like wave was trying to communicate you don't need to over heal on a mech that didn't require healing but dyce wasn't having any of it. Rin: I was on Wave's side on this Me: then why gaslight him into thinking he was straining his co-healer on stream where thousands of people witnessed it? Tldr: Rin and his static gives me gaslighting vibes. too much evidence against them to the point where i'm not even sure why they're still trying to defend their actions at this point

Something that hasn't been mentioned as part of the argument, and I think it should be, is that, if you're going to deal with drama within your static and put someone on blast while looking at their logs. Maybe _don't_ do it on stream with who knows how many people watching? Because that's got to be even more humiliating for the person getting dogpiled by you and your cronies while your fans watch.

This is just fucking infuriating jesus christ, how can one person, someone who has been playing the game for so long, be so fucking ignorant to what the issue actually is about? And there is VIDEO evidence of the EXACT issue Wave was complaining about. I'm usually someone who is willing to forgive someone, at the end of the day it is a game, although I think it is worth mentioning it can affect someones mental health to act in this manner. Regardless, it doesn't look like Rin actually understood the issue or is willingly ignorant of it and why we have problems with his behaviorr.

If I had to guess from a marketing stand point, Rin made the twitlonger to bandaid the hemoragging that’s going on with his followers. So he needed something that looks positive that doesn’t really say anything to retain followers. Post wave video he had like 120 active viewers. A week later it was around 60 and going down.

Dude doesn't understand the difference between overhealing and literally casting heals when they aren't contributing to anything. I don't know if Wave got that point across or not. I know he showed logs. That's like trying to dps and the boss is just giving immune texts, dying, and then saying I was trying to keep uptime on my rotation.

An apology will never mean anything if you keep misrepresenting what actually happened. If you can't shut up for a moment and understand the actual issue because you're too obsessed with your own version of events, why bother apologizing at all? My money is on a non apology and more gaslighting ("I'm sorry you felt hurt" vs "I'm sorry I was a jerk."). I had an ex just like this. Would declare he was putting an end to a fight, but finish with getting some last quip in. If I replied to said quip - always insulting - He would gaslight that I'm not letting it go and am the problem. Then fire off another insult I was just supposed to take. I get the same vibes here. I get the feeling Rin's ego can't get past anyone else having the last word, and if he does apologize, it would be an apology that you were hurt, not that he hurt you.

When someone can't even apologize without misrepresenting the person they screwed over, that's a fairly gigantic red flag. Its like I'm looking at some bigwig at Blizzard 'apologizing'.

It really feels like his "I take accountability for my behavior" is just another attempt to make himself look like he's sorry when he never addressed what he was wrong on and instead tries to justify his behavior. Anyone can say "I'm sorry", especially when they've been caught. It's another thing to actually BE sorry, which Rin is clearly not given his continued lying and attempting to excuse himself. Instead of wasting words trying to frame the situation, he should have directly addressed the issues Wave brought up, own up to them, and admit he was wrong and that he needs to do better. I mean, I think we can all accept he was under stress perhaps from the fight: but that's an explanation, NOT AN EXCUSE. Don't explain yourself, just own up to it.

Aiyah everytime Rin tries to explain himself, it just makes it worse for him and Dice. Dice is playing it smart by going under the radar and since he didn’t say anything directly, we’ll all be relying on assumptions or from his teammates opinions. Shame Rin can’t stop bringing it up tho, guess Dice won’t be able to show his face for the next decade or so 😅😅 Originally i thought Rin was the RL but he’s not so not sure why he keeps inserting himself into the line of fire. I love how he's still trying to act like the innocent third party who's not taking sides while STILL gaslighting, lying, and shiating on Wave. Then again, maybe he's more right than I think, I haven't seen the VoD of their runs. Maybe Wave isn't healing enough and the clip that he showed us is only Dice acting out due being the entitled baby that he/she is.

The only thing that makes any sense at all is the fact that Wave didn't do a great job explaining the problem, and the group absolutely failed to actually investigate it in a meaningful way, and just took Dice's side. Wave kind of made it sound like he was trying to optimize, and should have just stated that Dice dumped half a MP bar into meaningless overheals during downtime, and THAT'S why he was tapped later. But the lack of due diligence from a "high end" group is pretty sad. I've spent more time and effort getting to the root of a problem in savage/heroic raid groups.

Dice is the one who probably owes anyone any kind of explanation, not Rin. But they’re doing the smart thing and just lying low until it all blows over. Astonishes me all the people that came out talking about Dice’s negative reputation in PF. You must be that terrible of a person but smart enough to not take any accountability so that people will forget and the toxic cycle can continue.
