To all those people who are hating the new ring upgrade: The actual power of the Ring of the Lucii is extremely great. And it should be just like that in the game. Weakening it's strength will be unrealistic. Also if you hate "one hit kills" better don't use it at all. Whoever wants to use it is free to use it; and whoever doesn't also according to their wish may not.

It's crazy this guy knows these secrets, yet doesn't know the "secret" boost you get from releasing the sprint button right before your stamina runs out.

On one of the arches there's a moogle charm and if you hold square right before you hit the floor while falling you will do a cartwheel and avoid the drop damage

The climbing on arches must have been added. I DISTINCTLY remember trying to do it and being disappointed it wasn't possible.

its great that they make arches climbable, but i dont understand why there has tobe an invinsible barrier for the rest of the map, i mean can u just put a biggass lv140 monster in the middle of nowhere? its more fun. stacking trees and make an accessible forest makes a great view, riding choccobo in the middle of a forest is a nice change of pace from driving or flying around in a car

I actually kind of enjoyed the sped-up version of the Taka's Pit Stop music.

it's like 1000000000 times easier to climb Arches with a Choccobo

You can use alterna on Gladio during training too lol

Ya know the Alterna spell magic is kinda like a more powerful version of the Ultima spell magic from other games in the series

Is it wrong that #1 makes me salty because I actually fought that thing for 1hr 30min straight?

I’m sure everyone here knows by now already but for those that don’t you can double up on all the items when you new game plus. Even ultima weapon which also boosts magic a lot .

I think the stamina bar is more hidden then the things you showed here

Did you know that you can conserve stamina by pressing L3 or the sprint button right before you lose stamina to gain it again.

1 hour and 30 minutes 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES OF MY LIFE TO BEAT THE ADAMANTOISE AND I COULD JUST DO THAT ALL ALONG

Did you not know that if you hold down the sprint button (your Attack button and not the left stick) and let go right before it is completely drained, it replenished the entire gauge and you can keep going as long you continue using that trick

I tried using the alterna spell on the turtle but it kept missing. idk if I was doing it wrong. I was able to cast death on it, half way through it's health bar it just died.

I found out about the chocobo boost when the game first came out

Everyone her Is all "omg I spent so long fighting it and you can one shot it?" I spent maybe 15 minutes on it. I planned to spend hours but I used the ring of the lucii and was downing elixers to use life drain. It just kinda died at half health so yeah. Also yes I timed it because my magitec exosuit was only half drained

I knew about climbing the arches. I get on there as a shortcut to get to places. Even at night so I wont encounter a lot of daemons.

The best hidden feature is the last moment dodge you can do when falling from high places.

Climbing arches is my favorite pasttime. If you do it right, you can ride your chocobo up there as well.

That sprint boost thing you did there is another hidden feature. And yeah, as long as you don't bring adamantoise down you can use 'Alterna' I thought it was Athena but whatever

now no one will know how hard we fight that turtle like take us hour to kill it. (i hate they upgrade the ring.)

for running right before the green bar is gone just let go of run then hit it again and it will fill the gauge right back up to full and u can run forever by doing this

I hope next time they allow us to stand on monsters instead of falling everytime when we are on top of them

3 and 2 weren't such a secret for me, that was the first thing I did when I saw the arches, I tried to climb them and found out it was possible.

I used Ring of Lucii to get through most of the menace dungeons just to save on time. No way in hell I was doing all of them with weapons

Welp... I have 1 that's completely irrelevant but... I never knew u can hold (X on Xbox) or (□ on PS) to walk instead of the default running.

Some of these no longer apply after many updates. Some have been relocated however.

So tell me who else has exploited the fact that you can use Alterna to "suck" the adamantoise out of existence, but the next few times it don't do crap 😒

Idk why but I never got the Alterna spell to work on the big guy I had to hold the death spell in order to kill it

How high does your magic stat have to be to one-shot the adamantoise? :O

you know before you run out of stamina, you can press L3 and it will refill

I couldn't get alterna to work but I just spammed it with Death and and jumped between warp points to refill mp. I had one ramuh summon but I beat him in no more than 30 minutes? give or take

Oh, and why do you have a stamina bar? I finished the entire game constantly being annoyed by the fact that I couldn't see my stamina and you just have a bar telling you what's up? Do you have to activate it somehow?

so your telling me if I did one more story mission I would have saved 3 HOURS of my life fighting adamantoise

Here's a really good one that I saw you use several times, but didn't cover in the video: How to sprint MUCH farther. At very least 100% farther than your stamina bar currently allows. (Note: I'm not sure if this is a feature of upgraded stamina, but I suspect it is. Also, it's going to be necessary to enable the stamina bar from the settings menu,, for anyone who has it disabled.) Step 1) Use the manual sprint button to make Noctis sprint (i.e. don't use auto-sprint.) Step 2) Pay attention to your stamina bar and run Noctis' stamina down. 3) Release the manual sprint button just before the stamina bar runs out and then immediately press it down again. If you released the sprint button at just the right instant Noctis will flash green and his stamina bar will refill completely and immediately, no cool down or refill delay, and he'll continue sprinting. Try it! It works! The timing is pretty fickle so if you don't get it the first try just keep working on the timing. Don't let your stamina run all the way down, but don't let up too early either. That balance in your timing is key. I think there are some other factors that go into whether or not this trick will work, but I don't know for sure. For instance, if you stop sprinting with like 1/10th of your stamina left, and then start sprinting again and try this trick when the bar runs down, it doesn't seem to always work. It seems to prefer you start with a large portion of your stamina.

Havent been able to try it yet, but does the one hit kill on the adamantoise work regardless of level or do u need to be leveled quite a bit? Noctis for me is level 65 right now
