Final Fight arcade 3 player Netplay 60fps 

All I know is this requires a modified version of MAME, so if you're using the regular version, it won't work. That said, I know nothing about RetroPie specifically, so I'll leave this comment pinned for now and hopefully someone else can help you out.

@@arronmunroe Thanks man appreciate it. I saw on google there was an emulator that could run it. I tried updating that one and still didnt work. But hopefully someone knows the answer

@@yambaogolion9612 Final Burn Neo can play it. It just updated support. It comes as a Standalone build or a core in RetroArch.

@@SRC267 I switched the core for which the rom plays on to FBNeo. Still not working for me unless im doing something wrong

I've thought to myself these days that, the arcade version of final fight would've been a better prize for the end of series 3 of gamesworld, rather than the arcade version of primal rage!!!

@@STEJTHEGREATEST I guarantee you the grand prize was Primal Rage as they got the machine for free. But the kid who won it died a few years later sadly I heard.

@@Lupo32 You can tell Capcom half ass the SNES version of Final Fight based on what they were able to pull off in Final Fight 2 & 3.

Final Fight was the best thing to ever happen in '89 besides the San Francisco earthquake.

1989 was an amazing year for arcade beat'em ups/hack n slash games. Final Fight, TMNT The Arcade Game, Golden Axe, Strider. This was pretty much the end of Double Dragon being an arcade favorite.

The don't have a clue these days compared to the old programming teams

Shure it could've been possible, but Capcom just wasn't thinkin' on those terms back then since there weren't a whole lotta 3 or 4 player games in the arcades back in the late 80's.

@@DonYoGi8331 Or the 4-player co-op Simpsons or Avengers game. :) Those were the glory days of arcades. Just you and 2 - 3 other random kids just pumping non-stop coins and mashing buttons wildly. It was chaotic and haphazard and a HUGE money sink... But so so much fun.

Already been done. I put up a special build of MAME that lets you play this version with Sega CD music.

If you think about it all 3 of the characters are playable instead of 2 only.

@Genexolev Ashtiani What I can say is that I hope there is a miracle with the release of Streets of Rage 4.

Street Fighter '89, not necessarily a sequel but an offshoot. And they realised before release they wanted to make a real sequel so using the same name seemed like a mistake.

No it wasn't. It was Street Fighter in name only, and the Car stage appeared in Final Fight first. It was the same development team that made Final Fight and The World Warrior (just those two games) so they obviously recycled ideas.

I was crushed when guy was excluded from the super nes version.

This rom hack that lets 3 people play at the same time only came out this month, which is why you wouldn't have found anything before.

Impossible, I am sure of that, because in the same arcade room there was available the two games ... and I spent many minutes watching the games ... and I remember perfectly each OST for each game ... of course that for FF1 was a bootleg version

Final Fight One is what the SNES version really should've been back in 1991... Seeing how home console releases usually include additional modes and content; it would've made perfect sense to release THAT version instead, but they failed to do so due to hardware limitations + cartridge manufacturing costs back then and just pure lazy-ass corner-cutting. If those weren't really the deciding factors back then, I really do believe that they could've at least included all 3 selectable characters + 2-player support on the original SNES version.

It's possible, but they just need more time to hack it even further... I personally would really like to see even more enemies onscreen, more breakable containers in each stage, and weapons that NEVER disappear even if you drop them!

I can't state this as fact, but this is a possible answer I found on another website. Q] Why does Guy beat up Cody in the ending? A] Contrary to popular belief, Guy did not beat down his friend because he was jealous that he got the girl. The actual reason is, however, is that Guy was so shocked that Cody didn't stop when Jessica called his name -the entire point of them going on this quest was to save her, so Cody could at least talk to her afterwards. So Guy knocked down Cody to make him stop, letting Jessica catch up with him. Also, Guy wouldn't be jealous as it's revealed in Final Fight 2 that he has a girl of his own anyway.
