@magfedranchpaintball - The buttstock only pulls right off the tanks because its not adjusted correctly, there is a grub screw / thereaded nut that you tweak just for that purpose. There's a hole in the top of the stock opposite the sear for you to put a screwdriver through.
Yes, there is adjustment but as stated it is not consistent. Some stocks when you max the adjustment out it still allows full release. Others it will lock but then the paddle is very loose. We still recommend using a different sling mounting method , like the FS Rear Sling Mount, just to ensure reliability.
This is a great video! I would be interested in your thoughts on different optics or rail accessories. Or maybe a full load out video and what a minimal rig would look like compared to a heavy set up
We did consider using that stock for the closer clone aspect. There were a few reasons why we chose the In-Tank option. In no particular order: 1) we do not like the cons that come with the remote line setup, as discussed in the video. 2) we like our builds complete and ready for use when delivered to a client. We don't like them having to go and purchase an air source to enjoy the marker. 3) We are pushing for a "standardized" Magfed Gameplay and in the format, that we hope will be adopted, the rule for the air source will be an In-Tank setup using a 10-13ci tank. 4) for the Honey Badger build we wanted the final product to be light, maneuverable, and fast. We felt a remote line setup would add undo weight and restriction.
