We would use it against a gun because felons cant own guns but we still want to protect our homes and families if theres someone in your house whos there to steal or do harm and your home it can be considered kidnapping/hostage because your home i think thats mostly who that market is for its about the same cost and felons cant own pepper spray or tasers you can own a dagger but only in your home you cant walk around with it theres really no good options legally for felonys to be able to keep distance from an intruder other than paint and pellet guns
We totally understand this reason and we believe paint markers are a viable option. Our recommendation is unless you have a specific reason to use shaped projectiles exclusively or you want your marker to be a visual deterrent, Magfed markers are less effective than a normal hopper marker. In general, a hopper-fed marker will be more reliable, have a higher rate of fire and carry a lot more rounds. for most scenarios it would a better tool for the job.
You are correct. The gameplay is definitely not comparable hence why we wanted to have this discussion. Boxmag play even with rules restricting reloads to multiple Boxmags or round count, still simulates hopper gameplay. The gameplay we are trying to promote is Limited Ammo, Shaped Projectile and Small Team Tactics. Some in the community feel that as long as it's "magazine fed" then it is Magfed which is the on going debate.
I bought my m17 back in fall and constantly having problems with it every since day 1. My field uses 68 cal rounds gi sport . And im constantly having problems with mags not wanting to feed properly, and had to fix the gun itself several times 😓. I wanan be a magfed player because when it actually finally works 😅. Its so much fun. But so far regret buying this marker. There's always something wrong with it. But it makes me wish I saved my money up for a t15 or emf 100
Magfed markers like the m17 in general were designed for FSR. The main issue when using RB is going to be the magazine spring tension. The problem compounds if a softshell RB is used. Valken graffiti is generally the recommended round. We don’t promote RB use in Magfed for that reason.

@@eliaslopez719 you must keep mind the objective on why I recommend the M17 and also the T15. 1) Magfed only gameplay. 2) FSR or shaped projectile ONLY gameplay, which eliminates a stock TMC. 3) MILSIM gameplay where the markers and loadout look realistic as possible. Based upon those criteria, the M17 & T15 are the only 2 mainstream choices. The 468 is not reliable with FSR as I've documented. The EMF is not MILSIM looking stock. The issues with RB is eliminated with FSR use only.
Weight means nothing. Too heavy... work out more, conditioning is primary concern. I run, (under specific conditions), a CQMF with a 20" HH that's sleeved into a 29" outer barrel and aluminum muzzle brake. The whole thing is fitted into an M82 body with metal M60 bipod attached and a 50x optic with a canted red dot, running T15 mags, custom magwell and the extra space within the M82 shell filled with Flex Seal. No lie, it's realistic heavy (coming from a 20yr vet)! Add a viper hood and veil, body armor, helmet, full kit and two 100/4500 HPA tanks... now we're talking maximum suck under the humidity filled canopy of your local forest milsim field. Fun, fun, fun!
The great thing about Magfed and specifically Magfed combined with MILSIM is it allows you to simulate "real" setups and loadouts. You can choose to run heavy or light setups and experience it in real life and not some video game.
If you order, Get the higher price shipping.mine arrived perfectly fine but with barley a box. Like 2 cardboard flaps tapped to it. I highly doubt mcs was responsible as my HDB 68 my hda68 and the revolver came perfectly. And sorry about not reviewing that hammerhead 8in barrel. Wrong size and returning stuff is always a pain. I'll just grab another...my CQMF actually got here like that but without a single scratch and all parts there, somehow.
Unfortunately we do not. We purchased ours from online retailers as well. Hopefully they will come back in circulation or be reintroduced with improvements.
I wish first strike would make their rounds out of something biodegradable. Ive recently went to a restaurant that was giving away straws made of polyhydroxyalkanoate. So if they're cheap enough to give away for free now, maybe it could be a viable material.
This whole "realism" arguement is complete BS. Airsoft and any form of paintball are all games, nothing more. We're all out here LARPing action movies, video games and fantasies of varying forms. There is zero intent of killing. Realism doesn't respawn or wait for the next "game". Not to mention all the real life stresses that come with reality of real steel combat. These types of conversations serve no purpose other than ego stroking in a "game environment". Just like shit talking in video games. Zero real.
For us, it's more about the gameplay and whether or not we should hold ourselves to a specific style of gameplay. Within the Magfed community there is an ongoing debate/discussion of whether Magfed is anything that is "magazine fed" there by allowing space looking markers and Boxmags or should Magfed be more MILSIM, meaning realistic looking markers and limited ammo. There's pros and cons for both sides.
Yes, you definitely can. Just reminder to everyone that it will fire 1 burst of air so be careful to not have any rounds loaded and make sure the air manifold and o-rings don’t get jarred out of place.
No, the Anti Chop/LoK Bolt would replace the factory T15 barrel adapter. In essence the Lok Bolt is a modified barrel adapter with a built in anti chop feature added. Also, reminder to select the correct barrel thread for the barrel you plan to run - A5 or Auto Cocker.
@@RabidCarnageYes, the barrels that MCS/Hammerhead specifically sells for the T15 are Auto Cocker threaded but they also come with the correct threaded barrel adapter as well. They also sell the barrels separately without the T15 barrel adapters in Spyder, Tippmann 98, A5, and Auto Cocker threads. So, you need to double check which thread your barrel is. Hope that helps.
I have the DSG Tube V2 with the Planet Eclipse S63 tactical. Works very well. Also got the 16" extender on it and some variants of 3D print silencer. All together work very efficiently. 4cqb I use Holosun optic and range the supremacy
With the drop down mode I would suggest either using the QD mount on the dropdown for the rear and a rail mount option for the front. You could also use rail mounts for both front and rear or if you're planning to change the handguard, some handguards have QD sling mount options. As you can see there are options. You can go with something affordable like UTG, medium price like Magpul, or highend like Troy. All are available online. Stay away from airsoft quality accessories. Lastly, only use a quality adjustable sling like the blueforce gear slings.
i will say it helps a lot if you take a jewelers file half round works best and i just barely opened up the d shaped feed hole on the marker key is take a hand full of fs rounds and just open it up enough that they will just fall into the chamber.

These are the BEST MAGS. The GRIZEN. BLOWS AWAY THE 18R VALKEN We can we find more GMAGS We ONLY use the 11 round mags. For our LESS LETHAL 9GRAM ROUNDS We don't use it for Paintball We have NEVER had 1 gmag failure ever. The m17 18r mags are Horrible

this is a very opinion based video to a very upgradeable and considered by most the still today their favorite pistol. like comparing it to a rifle is ridiculous. please watch other videos for a better opinion. and they're are multiple breach options, barrel options, remote line upgrade.
I have the New V2 Hybrid Valken and I constantly get jams or flipped rounds. Plus there’s plenty of RU-vidrs that have the same issues. Yeah I can take it apart and roll it thru like you are easily but in shooting mode yeah the springs and followers are crap.

Yes, I am aware of the upgrades that can be done to the TiPX to resolve it's out-of-the-box issues but that was the point of the video = to highlight the Top 5 things we did not like about the pistol out-of-the-box. A lot of people purchase the TiPX thinking that it's a good entry point into Magfed not understanding it's pros and cons. Our hope was that this video was informative to potential purchasers so that they can be realistic with their expectations. Thank you for your feedback.
Conversion magwell and mag followers for CQMF to T15 found at Critical Situations in the UK. He's doing God's work to fix the CQMF shortcomings... also new bolt/heat-cores.

Not sure exact reason. We have not experienced that . My guess would be the PRV is not set properly or the Heatcore just needs to be serviced. If I run into that problem and figure it out I will definitely shoot a video about it.
😂 You showed a pic of a real BCG and said the real bolt carrier group has grooves in it for the same reason as the paintball BCG to keep it from clogging and paint and garbage out of it and what not!!! Those grooves are there for the Forward assist to engage and push the BCG forward if you have an issue feeding a round to push the round in the chamber all the way.. The forward assist is really not a good Idea to be honest, even Eugene Stoner, The Guy who designed the AR did not want it installed the Army wanted it to be added and installed.. To be honest if you have a problem feeding a round ,why on earth would you want to force a round into the chamber rather than extracting the problematic round..
It was marketed as such by some BCG manufactures. For example the S&W M&P has the BCG w/FA Grooves even though it does not have a Forward Assist. It very well could be just marketing gimmick. I agree with you on whether the FA is necessary or not. I have never had to use the FA on any of the ARs I own. Thank you for the feedback.

I am definitely considering it just for my own curiosity. They make 6", 8", 10", 12" and 14" so it matches up with some of the builds we do. FYI It will take a little while to compile the data because of the cost and time involved but hopefully looking forward to doing it in 2024.
