A lawn is an area of soil-covered land planted with grasses and other durable plants such as clover which are maintained at a short height with a lawnmower and used for aesthetic and recreational purposes. It has been a great year for the lawn and learning from it my first year owning this home. I appreciate everyone's support while I went through the ups and downs. I hope you learned as I learned this year. I look forward to next year which will be better.
I also wanted to take a moment to announce the big venture that Pete from GCI Turf had announced earlier. He has launched an organization that will help disabled veterans and law enforcement. The organization will provide work to their homes such as lawn renovations, driveway improvements, flower bed enhancements, or whatever they need. This is a great way to give back! Pete has called this Mission GCI. I asked him if I could support him in this effort by both sharing this information and being able to assist if he is in the central Indiana area. Just Awesome Pete!
