From ease of handling, to thrills on the road, the KVS checks the boxes. Motorcyclists who spend time with their bikes, understand the feeling of the machine becoming an extension of themselves, and that's how I've felt with my KVS. It's been a "good-friend" with whom I've bonded, over thousands of miles. Wish I could keep my Vulcan S, but I'm on a one bike budget and it's time to move on.

I've been looking at mid-size cruisers recently, and the Vulcan S is on the front burner. I like the Shadow Phantom with shaft drive, but don't like tires with tubes. Plus it makes less HP, has just a 5-speed gearbox, and poor lean angle. Guess it's the KVS 4me. BTW, I've been riding over 50yrs, and owned a number of bikes. Retired semi driver--Florida.

The Vulcan S is a fine choice, I'm sure you'll love it. For a cruiser-style, it's great in the corners. I remember considering the Shadow, but yes, I wanted a 6-speed too. Hope you get your new bike soon! Ride safe!

Sad day indeed! I hope you won't miss it and find great pleasure riding new bike. Ride safe. p.s. sound is amazing even on high speeds, any tips on how you achieve this?

I do miss the Vulcan, but the new bike is amazing! The cool sound of the KVS comes from an all stock setup. I always found it satisfying, especially when accelerating on the highway. My GoPro 11 with a wind-screen cover does a good job of picking up the tone. Ride safe
