HOLY SHIT THIS IS INSANE, all of this started from just small covers that then rose up to become huge storylines. One thing I'm happy about is you increase the volume because it was to quiet before. It was my only problem with it since I couldn't hear the actual song so I couldn't really tell what black was saying. But now I can actually hear it I love it all the more. I love how the parasite is talking to the player but also fighting with the real black until the duet at the end and from what I can tell accept each others existence. Also from the way parasite speaks my head cannon is he's the grim reaper and used black as a physical form. This is reinforced by the fact he calls him self loviatar (a goddess of death and pain) and death incarnate. Either way I love this characterisation of parasite. (And before people go off on one remember parasite black is the purple-ish pink text while the real black is the one with red text at least when he's singing anyway.)
i have to say, great to see this rewritten into one of my favourite tropes (living forever through stories) the voicework is amazing, and so is the lore within the song, about Vs Imposter's story ending but living on, having gone 'past your screen'. V3 Black was a perfect touch to this. honestly just great work. it just makes me smile.
This has been massive inspiration to a character I've been writing for a WHILE, while this song didn't inspire D.A.V.E.'s creation, as he was made months beforehand, it heavily helped me with furthering his story.
For context, just imagine D.A.V.E.'s general personality as a horrific amalgamation of GLaDOS as they're both smug machines, William Afton as they both return from death often, and Black in this song, planning to be remembered for centuries.

the singing and lyrics are great but it kinda suffers from mixing problems (i think the distortion/chorus/flanger type effect on the vocals are a bit much)
