👋 Finally time to install the catless downpipe on my 2020 Toyota Supra!! My Supra is in need of some more exhaust sound and a straight piped exhaust system! The A90 Garage downpipe sounds awesome pared to the AWE Resonated Touring Exhaust on my Toyota Supra! Love the new sound!

👁 About this video : Today we show how to install the A90 Garage catless downpipe on my 2020 Toyota Supra! Installing a downpipe on the Supra is pretty straight forward. Just disconnect the 02 sensor harness in the engine bay and remove the 02 sensors. Then slide your exhaust off to get access for removing the stock downpipe. A V band hold the downpipe onto the turbo, and then just two bolts on a bracket. My AWE exhaust was pretty tight on my stock downpipe so we had to wiggle it off for a little bit of time. Then installing the new A90 Garage downpipe, went as you would expect. We even lined up my exhaust much better then before and now the fitment is perfect. My Supra sounds awesome being straight piped! The new exhaust sounds awesome on my Toyota Supra! I love how the AWE resonated touring exhaust with a straightpipe downpipe still has the perfect sound with no drone. Car screams under boost and pops so loud! So much drama and now with a tune, Supra will be so fast!

The DP makes all the difference. I have a Titan DP and the pops are great. However, I am trading in the Supra and am dreading swapping the DP back to stock. (The job is easy, but sucks laying on your back...ask me how I know;) Enjoy it brother!

Bros FOURR Speed Ordered a G550. Won’t be in until Spring and dealer is willing to give me a good price on the trade. Selling (or trading in) the LE Supra and a 08’ G500 to free up garage space and money, for the new G. I get to enjoy the Supra for a little while longer, then need to put the stock DP back in and take out the JB4. FYI, I am guessing the tuning shop will Tune out any check engine lights. I am running a cat spacer (last 2k miles) and haven’t gotten a light. However, I hear others running the same setup are getting lights. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I hear yah. That's why I like the resonated touring exhaust. still has two mufflers and two resonators. Sounds nearly stock while cruising and driving slow. Under boost, thats a different story!

North Carolina requires emissions testing on vehicles manufactured in 1996 and after, each year. How could this Supra pass this test without cats? Personally. I think that the stock exhaust already sounds sweet, as "restrictive" as it might be. Yes, I put a Borla S-Type Cat Back on my car, but only because the stock exhaust was near silent.

Brand new cars actually don’t have emissions testing for the first two years. But there are many ways around it. If the cat sensors are turned off, they come up as N/A. And that passes. Also if you ‘know a guy’. They can pass it. And if it’s for off road use, it doesn’t matter

Yeah! But we had to keep it loose to fit it to the rest of the exhaust, so they probably wouldn't want it hot trying to tighten everything up. Oh well lol

Yes MST intake. Makes a massive improvement for sound and you’ll see in the tuning vid. Makes a huge gain!

Nope. I always hear ppl say that with straight piped cars. But neither of my cars smell like that. GTR has more of an exhaust smell then the Supra. But it just smells like exhaust.

I've been looking at downpipes for awhile now and am having the hardest time deciding on catless vs catted. Seems here in Virginia they are super strict about emissions and am wondering if catless would cause a fail, idk? With your catless, is the exhaust fumes really noticeable now or is it fairly tame?

Depends on how they do the inspection. For us they do OBD2 test. But if you have cats turned off. It can pass. It really isn’t noticeable as far as how it smells

@Romel Roze Nice! I'll have to take a look into theirs. I'm just using BM3 Stage 1 OTS tune right now and once I decide on a DP I'll just flash the stage 2 map and I think leave it there. I daily the car so I don't need anything too crazy.. for now at least lol

Bros FOURR Speed nice!, I also noticed once I had fitted cat less down pipe to my fiesta you could definitely here a lot more turbo whistle through the exhaust, for sure catless downpipe all the way for more power! Lots of people go for sports cats for emissions and MOT’s so it will pass but sports cats compared to catless still suck power

I want a Supra so badly but I hate these California dealer prices!!🙄😤😑 I've seen Supra between 2k-9k miles and still priced at $55k and I recently found a Supra with 15k miles still at $52k while the east coast and other states have BRAND NEW ONES 0 miles for $45k. Stressful

@@BrosFOURRSpeed thats what i thought. So i just started as a tech at bmw so i can get a great deal on a m2 but i kinda like the supra more. What would you get if you had a gun to your head? Also manual for either one. With the m2 i would go all out and get the full carbon package. But to me the supra looks better.

Those crackles and back fires in Sport mode are crazy loud. Boo to our U.K emissions, our A90 GR Supras will never sound that good and bet we have to swap exhaust back every MOT if it did.

The custom ECUtek tuning will run $1,200 and depending on what brand downpipe you get. That'll be $500-$800. All well worth it! Crazy transformation with the Supra!

There isn't any drone at all with this system! It was great in normal comfort mode and was quite just like stock! Not sure what you were hearing but in person absolutely zero drone form this system!

Congrats on the continued success. Just wondering: What are the odds of a RU-vid shout out?
