Love the look , .Accurist have brought some nice watches out and the automatic line is really nice , hopefully more watch guys and reviewers will take a leaf out your book and start showing accurist more, cheers dan.
I just bought the automatic version second hand. Ebay seller accepted £100 and it's like brand new. Definitely a stunner. Accurist are mostly a bit dull, but once in a while they knock it out of the park with an awesome watch, and this is definitely one of those.
Good review, the vintage Accurist looked great. The new one, I agree, the crown looked too small and I didn't like the way they highlight the date window. Shame about the second hand.
I liked this watch until you flashed up the original it was based off of - which looks SO much better! My main gripe would be the overly dominant logo on the face - compare it to the original - a much better size and look. Off now to see if I can hunt down a vintage one!
It would be fun to mod this. Domed sapphire I can do, but a quartz to an NH35 conversion is a different ball game. I would need a movement holder that fits the movement to the case and be the correct depth as well to ensure the crown lines up perfectly with the crown stem tube. If I was good on CAD and 3D printing, that would be an amazing project!
A box crystal would have been amazing. But missing the markers does my head in. I've never seen an Accurist which does line up. Shame abt that although i guess it should be quite easy to remedy
