59$ is a steal for that, it’s priced more than fairly in my opinion. This should be a no brainer for anyone who dips their car and has it dip armored. You’ve spent all the time to sip your car and do it right why not go all the way and have the absolute best chance to have a sip project that shows everyone else why Dip Is King 👑
“It’s not going to be night and day” Man, that seems pretty night and day to me. I think the slight sheen makes the car look a little better too. Great product!
I really want to see DYC do a Dip everything series! I want to know what happens when you spray, wood, concrete, umbrellas, house walls, washers, dryers, and refrigerators. Can you just imagine a dipped tree house for your Kid, nephew , or neice, or even a young cousin! Or even a Dipped Fence! And is dip stencilable
to answer the "is dip stencilable" question. Yes... just get that stencil taped down and flat before hand and pull it up while the plastidip is still wet to get clean lines.
It was pretty clear, to me, instantly when you started to pour on the ceramic coated side. It ran off the right side but it was instant full streams running off the the coated side. Good looking product. Sucks that all this just keeps adding to the price of a dip job HOWEVER, it now makes it viable where I live. Dirt road (prone to paint chips), lots of wind, lots of dirt, lots of mud when it rains, not being able to park in a garage. Dip armor and ceramic coating solves all of that.
Your delivery and humility are top notch! One of the best on the internet! I wish you and your business health and wealth. Thank you for all your work on these videos.
It was obvious from the first pour of the Blue water that the left had the ceramic coating on it. BTW saw the Donut Media Rediption video. So glad they took your offer. The Low Z looks so much better with the right product on it.
You got a link to that video? I haven't seen it and I'd love to, but a quick check of the channel and I can't see it... I'd love to see Low Z looking better. :)
When you peeled it off at the end there, how many coats of ceramic coating was on that dip? If it was just one, can you still put 2 or 3 coats on your plastidip without it affecting the peelability?
Hello friends, no matter which video I watch of you, it blows my fucking brain away every time. Unfortunately, I only became aware of you a week ago, I drive several Mercedes myself, your product gives me the opportunity to give my youngtimers a different color without minimizing their value as a classic. Greetings from "Good old Germany"
The end result is amazing and the car looks great! :D Also at 11:13 I see you guys finally, at long last, gave your M3 a brand new Roundel! No more eyesore in the beauty shots!
Fonzi thank you for the video that was real helpful and easy to understand even with the test from dipping the mud on their or pouring the mud on it that was awesome that is very interesting to know that there is a protection or could be a protection on a vehicle that would protect in whatever type of foul weather thank you for the video thank you for the Intel it was awesome I really really interesting video
Hey i'd like to know how ceramic coating reacts when outside temperature is around 30 degrees celsius. Is it compulsory to apply on a controled air area (air con) ?
At 12:45 - as soon as you started pouring the water I knew immediately that side wasn't treated. :) Dip armor is definitely good, but it's not a ceramic coating. ;)
I have a question or comment . I just plasti dip my wheels last week . But I had add ceramic coating on them like 2 weeks ago so when plasti dip them 3 days later start peeling . Question ;! They peel because ceramic coat ?
Hi! I’m shopping for a Jeep gladiator. If I get one with the black top and fenders instead of the painted to match, can I put dip armor on those surfaces?
Is plasti-dip actually silicone and NOT plastic? Because the only reason I could imagine the, "carrier", for ceramic coatings not playing nice is if they both have silicone in them. If so that makes sense and you would see your dip react instantly. Lol.
How much does it cost to work on a sedan because in my country Saudi Arabia there are your products, but the prices are very expensive and exaggerated Please reply and thank you ❤️
I don't know man I'm not saying nothing bad everybody's got their own opinion I love my car I'm a car crazy man I'm a mechanic it's in my blood I have a 2006 Dodge Charger RT I wash that thing almost every day I don't care but I don't see much difference I mean there is yes but not much, I will just stick to washing my car almost every day but love the product and I really want to get my car dipped 👍
Couldn't someone technically put a couple layers of actual ClearCoat Overtop of plastidip? That would really encase it and make it last for a long time plus add alot of shine
posting this on all your videos is going to be fun, but I'm still willing to let you Frankenstein my car with whatever random or obnoxious color (or a combination) you or viewers can think of. Make it gross, I don't care. I just wanna be part of the fun.
You should abuse a dipped car with ceramic coating as in take it down gravel and mud and then let it dry. No washing for a bit then spray it off in a video
