Is the 1.6T not indicating 1.6 liter turbo charged? Where did the 2.7 liter displacement you mentioned come from? Also did you say the car does 7l/100km in the city and 9l/100km highway? Did you mix this up? It is supposed to be the other way around. What is the combined figure? 62MPH is = 100km/h! You did 0 - 60km/h, NOT 0 - 60 MPH!!!! It is obvious that you are just getting started, and you are passionate about what you do, but it is important to do your homework properly, may be write a script for yourself and REHEARSE before you start. Did you say it has an NCAP rating of 5? Where is the evidence?

You see that part where you say you don't have a problem with it, that's a problem. Retro drive would still point out the faults in any car no matter the class. Cause I do feel a professional auto journalist like you no matter how much you love the car you show be able to point out the faults point blank. Cause pointing out these problems in terms of aesthetics, mechanical specification, utility/ functionality, pricing, performance and many more can even send out messages to the company for them to know where to work on and improve for future models coming from them.

Hmmm, nice car built by Nigerian in Nigeria, really proud of my country but the world is flushing down ICE vehicles and moving to electric vehicles with improved technologies and hoping for Nigeria to be among the trend... Before you turn my words against me( I know that we have low stable electricity) I have an off grid electricity and ready to buy a Tesla model 3 and powerwall 2 and you could make a review about it when it arrive and push to young peeps to get into these trends as well

@@olaiyatunde3023: When there is demand for electric cars, Innoson would produce the electric cars. Just as the government demanded bullet proof cars and he made it. You can't produce things when there is no yet demand for it and also Nigeria is currently dependent on oil exports so fuel cars will not be going away anytime soon from Nigeria. Maybe by 2060 we will be talking about electric made cars in Nigeria. Even senate throw away the motion when it was raised by Ben Bruce about electric cars.
This is great. I think they should get into the electric space quickly because that is were the car companies are heading and no one has a monopoly on that industry yet so I think Africa has a great chance to get ahead.
Really didn't see the engine and didn't get to know the HP and Torque... I love the video, first of it's kind for a lady I mean... I support, but I feel like you should have done more research and give us more details on the fuel economy and explain it in more "Nigeria" terms... Like, "in Lagos traffic" and "traveling from Lagos to Ibadan or Benin express road"... I think that's what lot of Nigerians could or would relate too... We black people love looking good and having the best and this will reflect in our own cars.. This car is amazing. Can you imagine what will be created in the next ten years. We are just getting better.
And if it's about fuel economy a Toyota RAV4 would do as low as 6.7-8.8 litres per 100km depending on highway, city or travel conditions. While this is doing 7.9 all the way to 10 litres. I'm pretty sure I don't need to point out which is obviously more fuel efficient and even so less pollutive.
This car was made to be more durable for Africa roads. The same way you have American spec is the same way this is Africa spec. In Africa we have very rough roads so the suspension and many other things were made to be more strong and have more weight than the cars made in USA so with extra weight it will consume a little more fuel.
Car was assembled from Chinese CKD. Let us be careful with our terminologies. Nord is doing the same thing Innoson is doing. None of them is a car OEM manufacturer. What they are is a rebranded CKD assembly / production operation. A little factual disclosure would save us all a lot of heartache. Truth is priceless. Kudos to Nord. Ciao.

Africa has far harsher roads than China. They may be remanufacturing similar car but a lot of extra modifications are made to the African variants to make them suitable for African traffic. So these cars, although Chinese derived, are truly African.

Truth is sacrosanct. Innoson is nothing but an assembly plant. It is not even a full blown assembly plant (such as PAN and VWON were). What Innoson does is called SKD assembly. PAN was a full scale CKD assembly plant. Innoson only assembles semi-knocked down parts - a much easier and smaller scale feat. You wanna hear the truth?? There is the truth. I hope you can handle it. If you push me, I will name the Chinese variant/origin of every single Innoson model. And NO, they do not make any parts here. If you insist they do, then name the part and point out the manufacturing location. You guys really need to learn how an industry works before you start arguing. If Innoson claims to make 70% of his parts, ...then pray me, where is he pressing the body panels?? Where is the mould?? Where is he forging the chassis components? Where is the location of the factory for these? Some of the claims being made is laughable? The car industry requires an extensive support and component manufacturing industry - something that is lacking here in Nigeria. Heck, we do not even make tyres or batteries anymore! Nice review. You actually used the wrong parameters for the speed test. The 0 - 60 speed test is actually in the mph (equivalent to 0 - 100km/hr). Since we use the metric system in Nigeria, your speed test ought to have been done using 0 - 100km/hr.
If the car was made in Nigeria, then who is the designer? What studio designed it, when was the first prototype completed. All the other manufacturers do show their prototypes, and spyshots used as teasers. This car was designed and manufactured in China. exported as unbranded CKD and assembled in Nigeria. You see its time we stopped and questioned the logic behind what is being told. You see that interior? That is not an African manufactured interior. Even some Dacias and Ladas dont have that fit and finish. So let us be honest, educate our people and stop being taken for a ride.

When giving information on the engine gearbox and other large parts of the car name a producer. I presume that engine and gearbox are not locally produced. This is important.
If we want to really know what the suspension systems are like shouldn't we be driving it on a challenging roads, cause after all majority of the roads in this part of the world are challenging?
To be honest the car is very much ok from the reviews but there is nothing i find exciting all I see is just basic and really just normal no fun techy stuff like care should be like a home like finding new things tho but I love it has a reverse cameraa go into the screen part
