Why do so many people claim that Tom only sings political songs? Tom has many songs that have nothing to do with politics. Here are some examples: Castles, No Good Bastards, Don't Look Down, White Boyz and many more. Mac Lethal... If you don't know Tom's story you are missing so many gems hidden in his lyrics!!

When Tom dropped Best Rapper Ever about 2 years ago, Eminem dropped a whole album on the same day, Tom held the #1 spot on iTunes for a couple of days against every track on the album, but he is really talking about being the GOAT of fully independents. #HOG UK
I believe the rapper he was talking about their career was Mac Lethal. When he talks about being the biggest - he references it all the time in the context of independent artists. No major record label.
In this song Tom is addressing all the haters and what they have been saying about him. setting the record straight. Tom said he would rather put out positive messages that inspire people and motivate. When he says he is the biggest he is speaking about in the world of independent artists.

Tom literally points to Heaven when he says “God Mode” and points down to Hell when he says “Beast Mode.” He is saying, other rappers are doing the Devil’s work, intentionally or not, while he intentionally is doing his best to work for Good/God! He also says that he isn’t going to get dragged into a diss battle!

I’m a retired vet who loved rap music from the 80’s and inspired to be a rapper to be positive to our young kids. I got so fed up with the music industry, I stopped listening to rap for well over a decade because the trash that was poisoning the minds of our youth. This song by time is so inspiring to people who battled addiction. I’ve seen comments from his song where other retired vet in their 60’s and above who never listen to rap but saw this video and could stop watching and praised Tom for this message.

I was hoping you would cover this one... Mac Lethal is who he destroyed. Tom's story is quite amazing to see where he is now. If you listen to "This House" and go back to this one, this is the complete circle. This song is to address all the haters, he's like the Bruce Lee of music. He is gonna diss the haters without really dissing the haters. Can't touch Tom because Tom already achieved everything he set out to do, now it's just for the love of what he does. A lot of people think this is to also address the "Upchurch" mess, but I think this is to address people bigger than that, when Tom and Ben came out with Facts, he had some hip hop signed artist coming for him, I think this is to address all of that. Every time Tom drops a new song, it is at least #3 on the charts, he has beat Em on the charts a few times.

There is a big difference between SALES and STREAMS. Most artist today get lots of streams, but it takes thousands if streams count as one SALE (songs or albums). Very few artists today sell much in iTunes....and Tom sells a lot in digital and physical CDs. He just got Billboard #1 this week on 2 charts.
The hip hop scene also usually respects who makes the beats, not just the one rapping on the track. Tom does all his music, all the audio production, it's all him.
