Hey ! Great vid ! If you want to listen to more of them you should check : Blod, Let it burn, The eagle has landed, Statue of the King, Welcome to Avatar country. Which will give you a good vision of what this band is capable of (many styles, fun and catchy songs).

I love Avatar. They opened the door to metal for me. But I love that they aren’t SUPERRRR heavy & you feel like you can dance to their music which is what they were wanting out of Dance Devil Dance, their latest studio album from 2023. If you want to hear different vocal ranges, Dance Devil Dance is great. Valley of Disease is my favorite song from that album. But Hail the Apocalypse is a classic & such a banger. The Eagle has Landed has a different but fun sound. A Secret Door is also one of my favorites which I recommend. When the Snow Lies Red is great. So many dang good songs but there’s a few to start.

A German Shepherd is the first thing you see and Soviet officer getting sucked into the Holocaust and now has regrets. Such a powerful song.

Great reaction! You've already had several suggestions for other songs to chack out, that I agree to. I just want to add 'Tower' and 'Hail the apocalypse', the later preferably the live version from Wacken 2015.

Avatar played with Gojira couple times and very like them as a persons and musicians.🤩 Weееееll... If it had been a Nazi officer, he would not have regretted anything. I very recommend you New Land, Scream Until you Wake, On the Beach, Dance Devil Dance, Gotta Wanna Riot, King's Harvest. And as vocalist Johannes Eckerstrom said, ‘Bloody Angel’ is about shame and guilt. You look around and watch all the suffering and while you search for someone or something to blame, you end up in front of a mirror. Everything you touch, you break. Everyone you try to save you hurt and push further away. Interesting fact: director Johan Carlen was inspired by Dogville and Manderlаy by Lars von Trier when building the scenery for the clip. For the first time, the band shoots their play separately. Just on a black backdrop. Filmed at the beginning of April 2014, by the way.

Avatar is surely an interesting banger band to check out more. There are so many talented band to review these days.. Check out Fleshgod Apocalypse, Igorrr, Belgian funny slammer band Fleddy Melculy (they sing in Dutch, I am Dutch).

I have listened to a fair bit of these guys but didnt know they were from sweden til now. Cheers fella. I dont like this song as much as some of their others but its still ok i guess.

Let it burn/ the eagle has landed i like. Coheed and cambria - final cut live Trivium - Rain/ pillar or serpants/ ascendancy/ the sin and the sentence/ kirsute gomen/ down from the sky. I got requests for days my man. lol@@UntitledtotheGrave
