Perhaps move some of the decor off the counters so you have space for the appliances that you will use frequently.

I think that you need to stop buying and sort out what you have and see what the house speaks it needs. You are going to end up with too much clutter! You need to think a bit more minimal! Just because you have a hutch...doesn’t mean that everything needs to be displayed on the outside! You will have to dust all that is on the outside frequently! Which gets to be too much!that Love never fails could go into your entry!

Loving the house updates!! For the basket ladder in the dining room I would Recommend using it for table linens. You could use one basket for napkins, one for table runners, one for table clothes, and then maybe the lower shelves for seasonal items or even games for the living room. You could even use it in the living room for things like small games like decks of cards and blankets or other items you need in the living room!

Y’all can we just say how much transformation the home has NOW!!? PeriodT. Kayla your home is beautiful and LOVE texture black!!!! You can always put flowers on every other basket that has color theme. The mirror should be on the opposite wall of the bench. Overall I’m so happy to visually see everything come together.

When painting with a roller, roll out a W, then fill in around it. You'll more evenly spread the paint.

I bought a fixer up about 7 years ago and did lots of diy, there is always something to do even up to now: but I recently got diagnosed with arthritis and fibromyalgia; so I need to slow down . Watching your diy reminds me of my better days, so proud of you!

I have a suggestion. Wash your dishes in the left side of sink, then on the right side put your dish drain in there. Then you have a lot of extra counter space! You just rinse your dishes in the drain and let them dry, or dry when ready!!

I actually love the black walls. For the blank black wall in your entryway, I recommend doing a photo collage with white frames and black & white photos inside. It doesn't have to be large frames either. Less is best.

I love the white walls than the original walls it came with. Ugh sooo much better. Makes your space look and feel open and breathable. The entry way is LOVELY. Since the mirror has gold in it also get some white and black pillows with some gold in it to put on the bench. Also as time goes by; paint the hutch in the kitchen to look more like a built in!!!! Awesome job; you are a determined young lady!!!!!!!!

That hutch should go in the dining room. It would free up a lot of space in the kitchen for a cool situation on that wall in the kitchen for her microwave. She could do a coffee bar in there also in that space. Also if she painted the hutch black & added silver hardware it would look good with the table.

I absolutely LOVE your journey! Although I'm 51, I am so inspired by what you're doing and shared your channel with my 23 & 17 year old daughters. Painting the entryway black brought so much depth to that area!
