The concept of the open world aspect is really unique where there is always action in every area. Hopefully whenever a new twisted metal is in development the devs look at this concept to use this similar gameplay for multiplayer.
i'm barely 10% into the video but this has so much colour! Downtown feels truly like TM1 with how well-lit it is. I'm also surprised all of this fit into the measly 8mb the PS2 had.
Fans- Severed Sam makes no sense! Twisted Metal- Homicidal Clown with his head on eternally on fire, Multiple Ghost drivers, A Demon from Hell, A Dead Girl reanimated by the LAPD, A Zombie (Shadow from Head On, not Mr. Zombie), a Kid controlling the Corpse of his Dead Father, a Girl trapped in a Doll Mask, and THE LITERAL GRIM REAPER!
The levels in art direction and attention to detail are amazing to this game but I've played through some of it and the head on engine completely ruins the replayability for me it's way too basic which is sad because these are some of the most creative levels in the series it was so cool driving to a new location outside of the level you just completed
This seems like a mix between Black and Head On. I’m really sad this couldn’t release since this game seems more finished than modern games are now. The Carnival level is my favourite!
I'm still so surprised that this was canceled. Black sold well from what I remember and definitely scored good reviews. Especially since this was close to being done, why not just finish it and release it
Honestly, Sony should just make this the new TM game, but remaster it to ps5 graphics, more game modes and add more characters. I think this is strong enough to sell as a single title.
@@Silentonryo it is being played through an emulator, yes! The download link to the zip folder containing everything needed is in our TMF discord (link in description)
