To be honest, it's a bit frustrating when I come to your channel to learn something about my 08 6-6. Trust me bro, I own a 2013 J35 6-6(Daily), and a 08 HR 6MT, and I gotta say the accords are not too far off from VQ stock for stock. Obviously my HR is the better and faster car but the accord has a soft spot in my heart for underdog. I gap VQs in my accord and J series in my HR 😂😂

@@vq35hr3 Ehhh stock for stock an Hr/Vhr is quite a bit faster than a J-series Accord but once a those V6 Accords gets some bolt-ons and Tuned then they start to get pretty quick 🙏🏽

@@DaytonaBlueHr I raced my buddies Q50 AWD VHR in my Accord 6-6 and we were neck to neck, my HR pulls him hard in 4th gear. RWD 6MT HR VHR definitely are faster stock for stock

16 or 17 but especially if it is touring edition and manual. It will def go up in price since those are more rare. In a way i kinda wished i saved up and got the 16-17 v6 but i found a really good deal for my white coupe 2013 so i couldnt pass up on it. The cosmetic upgrades do look better on the 16-17 though

@Drop Topp I have a 2014 got it with 62k miles. Theres was 2016 with 134k miles for $1000 more. I dont regret it. Just hit 85k miles and love everything about it

I have a 9th Gen and tbf I love both the 8th and 9th. The 8th gen looks meaner like a street fighter and the 9th Gen looks a bit more softer like a luxury-ish flow. I was gonna get an 8th Gen at first and do Android play radio but I ended up finding a 9th Gen with only 103k miles for 9k and the 8th Gen I was looking at they wanted 11k. 🤣

@@abc.garage I forgot to put the reason I got it for 9k is because Syncros for 2nd gear are fcked. 😂 Gotta find someone to rebuild my transmission soon. But if the total ends up like 14k for the car it's a Honda so I think it'll be worth it.

When I bought my 9th Gen 2017 V6 Accord Coupe Touring a few weeks ago, I had called on Friday to see if it was still available. I couldn't drive there over 2 hours that day, because I needed my dad to come with me so I could purchase the car and drive it home. I was so scared and panicking that it would sell that day. (I didn't know this until later, but apparently someone HAD come by that day to check it out and was planning on buying it on Saturday after he went back to go get his wife to also check it out.) Anyway, when we headed out on Saturday to check out the car, I insisted that we get there EXACTLY at the dealer's opening time. Turns out, if we had been about 20 minutes later, someone else would have bought the car. They came prepared to buy it on Saturday, but didn't expect anyone else (me) to arrive so early specifically for that car. These cars really are desirable and are such sleepers, even in their stock form.

accord coupe tourings are really rare especially if its a manual. Also color does play big role too, i was only looking for blue and white and maybe settle for black if i couldnt find any so i found a white one after few weeks of searching. Accord v6 are fun and great daily drivers, also has good in rear for it being a coupe too

@@droptopp3479 Unfortunately mine is automatic. 2017 V6 coupes didn't offer a manual transmission with the Touring trim level. At least I have paddle shifters and it is my favorite color of blue, though.

For sure!! I picked up my EX-L 6-6 '15 Coupe back in Feb. about 4 hours away from me. I got there at open and the lot had only posted the car for a day and had nearly ten people show up in the boonies of KY trying to scoop it up. Was EXTREMELY grateful I spent the whole day preparing before! Came with Injen Intake, Borla Axleback, BC Coils. At 84k miles. Possibly tuned since some of the vids I see seem slow compared to my pulls. I need to get it further examined somehow.

@@jacetheace849 A Honda dealership should be able to scan the ECU and tell you if it's stock or tuned. Too bad you couldn't find the 2017, because that one has Android Auto/Apple Carplay and the refreshed exterior design. (And personally, I wish they offered the Touring with a 6MT, since my automatic transmission is SO horrible at downshifting.)

Same I think the 9th gen has way nicer lines. I don't care for the go fast moldings on the 9th gen bumper it has a better interior but over all I think the 8th gen is a much more beautiful car.

So the stock ninth gen was able to stay with you after all the mods you've done? Damn. I have a stock eight gen and this shows me to make sure to not race a ninth. Like you I wanted a ninth gen...Me because of all the cool electronics on the inside but couldn't quite afford it. The prices never went down on them.

Yeah and the more i thought about it, it makes sense. The 9th Gen stock puts down like 250 whp, my car put down 260 whp and I had a passenger. Not to mention the gearing is a little bit more aggressive

The electronics are considered more of an annoyance far as screens go. But some features are really nice like push to start, hill braking assist for the 6-6, electronic steering.

That's insane haha🔥. I'm going to say the lightweight wheels gain him more to the wheels then stock also, but door to door is awesome to see for 9th gen owners. What doesn't make sense is when both fbo tune they make the same whp🤷‍♂️. I'm trying say hard to trade my truck in for 9th Gen 6-6, but can't find one anywhere that's not a cpl day drive.

I have 9th gen but a sedan still paired with the 6 speed but sadly it's an automatic but I l really didn't buy the car for performance the engine blow on my old car so I needed a new car asap was looking around and found an Accord in my price range and I was surprised to find out the car actually had some power I know some might hate because it's only an automatic but I need more power it's my daily driver so an automatic is convenient anyways love you channel been watching for about a year now keep it up keep representing the j series family

Automatic cars are fine. It's just too bad that this specific 6-speed automatic is so clunky and slow to shift. When braking, you can feel the car jolt as it downshifts through the gears. When in 6th and you floor it to pass a car, it takes like 2 seconds before it downshifts 3 gears so you can even start to accelerate. Other than that, it's a great car. I have a 2017 9th Gen coupe V6, and the paddle shifters are incredibly slow and virtually unusable. But then, 2017 V6 Accord Coupes literally can't be found anywhere with a manual transmission sadly.

When I was looking to buy my accord I specifically bought the 8th over the 9th for that exact reason. I personally like the styling a lot better.

@@corey_5758 oh yeah I'm sure the guy with the 03 to 07 Accord V6 was gone because I myself have the rarest edition of that body style I have an 04 V6 6 speed manual coupe with the very very rare hfp Honda Factory performance package which comes with the front lip rear lip side skirts spoiler lowered suspension strut bars sway bars leather heated seats Etc bigger wider Wheels bigger brake package but I was never an accord guy I've owned tons of civics integra's Crx's S2000 always love building 4-cylinder Hondas and I will tell you man once I got this 04 Accord for a daily so I can keep my 95 Civic as my full-blown track car with the k-series in it these be sixes are on a whole nother level This V6 Accord was already quick when I got it stock and especially with the hfp package already makes it look way more aggressive handle way better than your average V6 Accord Coupe But with the current mods custom cold air intake for in the j37 intake manifold j37 throttle body ported and Polished lower intake Runners intake manifold spacer the pre cat deletes and the rv6 V3 J pipe and Cat-Back exhaust and Stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel Dyno Tuned this thing is a beast I've been able to beat 8th and 9th gen's with with my 7th gen with similar mods and I have pissed off plenty of Random v8 owners Pretty much any Mustang or Camaro dodge charger that makes 300-450 horsepower I can either be neck-and-neck or pull on them

I have a 9th gen 6-6 and it does not feel like it makes 276 crank, it feels like it makes 276 to the wheels. I outrun my friend's turbo volvo that makes 315 to the crank, if the manufacturer is to be believed.

@@alexsbloggiesyt9762 I have a 9th gen and am trying to sell my 8th gen. My 9th gen interior is literally smaller and there is less leg room for the passenger seat when it is fully back. I don't even know why. But then the tech and features are way better in the 9th gen.

@@JustinDaniels While I don't have a varied, experienced opinion on this, my best friend is 6'8 and sits quite comfortably in the front for a Coupe. JS lol.

@@jacetheace849 Yeah I can still fit in the front of my 2017 V6 Accord coupe just fine. However, there is less leg room than there was in my 2010 I4 Accord coupe. Also on the front passenger's seat, I was able in my 8th gen to move the seat so far back, my legs didn't touch the front of the floorboard, but in my 9th gen, my feet are always against the front. Still reasonable amount of room, though. (I'm 6'1")
