With Spring in the air we are finally starting some build projects around the farm - first up is building a hog panel fence and stairs to get down our steep hillside!

Hello. Saw your hog panel fence video. It looks great. I was wondering about your dado groove. How wide of a router bit did you use and how deep were your grooves? I want to do similar railing at my place. Thanks! By the way, great looking farm.

HI Tim, thanks for watching! I'm not sure on the size of the bit. It was an older one and the size was no longer there. It just needs to be big enough for the panel to sit in. I stuck it up against the fence where the two wires are welded together to make sure it was a tight fit so there wasn't any wiggle in the fence. I probably went half an inch deep or so. It doesn't need to be much, but enough to account for a bit of possible sag in the boards. Sorry, not much help with your questions.
