Lauren and I bought a farm a little over a year ago. While owning a farm has always been a dream of mine, it seems more and more people these days are looking at starting a hobby farm. We're here to show you what it takes to bring a 200 year old basically abandoned farm back to its former glory. The good, the bad, the hard and the easy, we're going to show you it all. Follow along for the ride!
I have a Gravely ZT44 HD with the same bagging attachment and my lid screen also blew out on as well. brought the bagger attachment into the dealer to fix the issue and they added more fasteners to secure the screen and it has been good ever since their repair. Do you have a p/n for the larger size bags for this bagger?
What is the length span from point A to B? Was your pole 10 ft above ground? Looking to do something similar above my pickleball court just trying to figure out how tall I need my poles. We are looking at a 30 ft span pole to pole. Thx for the video
I have a NX6010. bought new 4 years ago. Nothing but heart ache. Spent over 8,000 dollars on various repairs. Front tires dry rotted 2 years. Bucket mounts bent. $2000. Wire harness $1300. Cracked main housing leaking hydraulic oil. Bad casting. Bucket control handle broke. Left side back wheel rim came apart and fell off. Today I started plowing and I cloud of smoke came from under the hood and it died. Smelled electrical.

Maybe it’s overkill but I believe Azek suggests all stainless fasteners with PVC. PVC is corrosive over time. Love the look of your boxes and plan on building some for our house!
I was thinking thinking about one of these but I think I’ll skip it. Looks like too much of a hassle and frustration. What I’ve been doing that works well is throw the grass inwards. I’ll do my initial cut then I’ll go back and start throwing the cut grass into large squares and keep working the square small the grab a rake and load up the side by side with the grass. I have 3 acres I keep cut.
I've used one to cut much 2x4 and 6x6 from softwood. Always use your first flat surface to cut the other 3 sides. Turn around and walk the saw, slowly, down the log. Not fast but they work fine.
I bought a new ZT HD 60 on 03-22-2024, model number 991272, and it did not come with the oil drain hose. Only a cheap plastic oil drain piece. Pisses me off. I ordered the Gravely hose, j-clamp, and bolt and will install all of it at my initial oil change at 10 hours.
Hi, Try sharpening the blades with a file. Grinder is putting a curve on the edge making the material thinner at the point. I’ve gone two years sometimes without sharpening.
2 year old post but I just found this...I have a 2021 DK6010SE HST Cab. As of today (2 April 2024) I have 247 hours. I had Kioti do the 50 hour service. (Knock on wood) I've had no major issues with the tractor. I did bust out the rear cab window with a 3pt. post hole digger attached. Hit a dip in the ground to fast and it rocked the post hole arm into the window. I'll have Kioti do the 250 hour service too.
It's not the most quiet, but it isn't loud either. Any time I've gotten a call I usually just throttle down and it's fine. Definitely too loud for speakerphone.
I just purchased a new 2023 Gravely ZT HD 60 on 03-22-2024. Model number 991272. Got a very good deal on it. Never owned anything Gravely. I’ve had 5 Hustler mowers over the years since 2010. Have you had any problems with your mower and how many hours are on it? I read a lot of great reviews on the ZT HD. It’s Gravely’s most popular selling mower.
