This brings me memories, I am a 99' child and I remember being 5 years old and seeing this doll on toy stores. I had seen this in advertisements on TV, singing "Tarta de Fresa" (strawberry cake in Spanish). This is a cute collection and it is adorable for those who remember this character ♡

I watched a review of this yesterday and she goes ‘I wish this came out in spring it’s not very holiday’ and then goes ‘ok I’m dipping into emerald green’ and I wondered if she realized. I was actually pleased with this collection because yes it has red and green but you could wear it anytime and has some range. Probably MY favorite creative holiday release ever.

Morning :) I am on the other end of the spectrum, Strawberry Shortcake ( along with Rainbow Bright AND Punky Brewster) was SUCH A HUGE part of my childhood. I especially loved Miss Blueberry. I remember going to Futurevision to rent, over and over, the videos. Those shows embodied me as a child. Strong nostalgia alert!!! I am not a lover of pink lipstick but that one is nice, it's different enough. I loved this release

i LOVEEEED strawberry shortcake and rainbow brite as a kid!!! i was soooo bummed when the blush sold out so quickly, and then the collection sold out right before i was able to buy it, so i ended up just getting the palette and lippie set. i’ll get the blush eventually. i love the color story so much and the shimmers/duochromes look incredible. i adore red eyeshadow and i love pinks and greens together, and the look you created is absolutely beautiful. i love it. 💖💚♥️

I loved Strawberry Shortcake as a kid (I watched the revamped versions in the 2000s-2010 since I was born in 2000)... coincidentally, I just had *actual* strawberry shortcake last week for my birthday... Personally won’t ever order from glamlite after the way they have treated you, making you do things that is their responsibility not yours especially as it costs so much money to get it shipped out, honestly wouldn’t feel confident enough to order knowing how poor and shocking customer service and how they treat customers is just a huge ick!,

In 1980 I was 5years old and let me tell you! Ha my ENTIRE bedroom was Strawberry 🍓 Shortcake my nightgown toothpaste dolls everything lol I loved my dolls because you could press their belly and a burst of strawberry scent would come out. My sisters and I collected the Strawberry Shortcake dolls and other toys. We had Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Lemon Meringue Pie, a dog I think and some accessories. We used the bubble bath too! My older sister had some Ss kids makeup and I was so jealous! That would’ve been around 1982-3-4. The dolls were scented and so cute. Wish we’d kept them. They’d probably be quite collectable. We weren’t allowed to watch TV so I never saw the show but there were little books too but I thought they were ‘babyish’ and my younger sister loved them so I used to read them to her.

I was born in '81 and I remember the original iteration of Strawberry Shortcake and really loved it as a little girl. I just passed on this collection though because I have the Unearthly Strawberry Milkshake palette and I couldn't justify purchasing this as well. I played with scented dolls as a girl that were obviously rip offs of strawberry shortcake, even so the theming doesn't really pull at me. BUT the colors are so pretty and it's done so well! Those are my favorite kinds of greens. Love your look!

I was an 80’s kid, so the nostalgia was a little bit of a factor in me purchasing the collection…. But Glamlite is also one of my favorite brands. I love the color story ( except the reds ..) cause I don’t normally wear reds because I am fair skin with pink undertone and I feel like reds me look sick …. I'd love to see this compared to, or combined with, the Strawberry Milkshake from Unearthly Cosmetics! I have that one, which is a more saturated jewel pink-red-green than your Oden's Eye palette (which I also have, to be honest!) They don't look too similar in the shimmers, but I wonder how close the strawberry inspired mattes are

God I love this purple green lighting!! How do you catch that lighting while still being lit up with a soft light?! My soft box might be too big… it only have an on/off option and my white balance drive me mad. I want to get that nice back lighting… Sorry that wasn’t makeup lol. But this collection is cute idk there are some items that catch my eye, but do I really need it? Or am I lured in by cuteness?

I remember watching the early 2000s reboot when I was a child. I don't love the 80s version as much as the 2000s version. My favorite character was Ginger, she owned her own bakery!

I am waiting for a Rainbow Brite Collab. I loved that cartoon as a kid. Me and my sister had the dolls and everything. I like Strawberry Shortcake a lot too but for some reason this collection just didn't do it for me.
