There are a whole lot more famous dishes to try. Sisig, kare-kare, lechon, crispy pata, dinuguan, adobo, kaldereta, menudo, afritada, etc. Heart warming soups like sinigang, tinola, nilaga, bulalo. Oh and that fried chicken in Jollibee though, you have to keep on dipping it in the gravy. It's a Filipino thing. Try it, much more satisfying.
While I rarely type comments like this, I was just about to comment on this short of yours that while Jollibee is so famous now, people forget that that's originally based off of like Filipino peoples' tastes. Then why not try Filipino food as well? So many people just talk about Jollibee while not looking into Filipino food too.
@@gabrielgodoy2124 yes but FYI Spaniards colonized the Philippines for 300+ years until 1898. That's why the Philippines has so many food items that are similar to Spanish food from drinks to pastries to viands.
PLEASE PLEASE GO TO ANY NYC "CHICKEN SPOT" ORDER THIGHS AND MASH POTATOES EXTRA GRAVY TELL HIM YOU'LL PAY ANY AMOUNT FOR EXTRA GRAVY (have cash only bring $20 make sure you have $5 in singles and low/high key- tell your friend such and such (make up a name) is going to have to buy drinks because you are tapped out) COMBINE CHICKEN AND GRAVY no mash Report back Yeah I betrayed the chicken spot but they been raising prices od on wings lately
That thing is molten lava disguised as a sweet treat. If it is a few degrees hotter it will melt you through, you thought you ate five buckets of inferno wings.
As a half Filipino who grew up on Jollibee and sweet spaghetti,,, it’s definitely not for everyone lol but I can’t help but crave it every now and then 😅
same lol its just really good I don't understand why some of the comments say its disgusting or doesn't taste good its ok though cause we all have different taste but seriously you can dislike it but calling it disgusting and other offensive things its just annoying like i saw this comment saying "get rid of spaghetti"
I fasted on Jollibee for several months and I remembered I used to like the chicken/spaghetti combo. Their spaghetti is really the best sweet style spaghetti among the fast food chains here lol. You will really crave for it every now and then haha
The spaghetti is a "love it or hate it" thing. I love it. That was the spaghetti of my childhood. But I certainly understand why some people hate it, especially if you're not told what to expect.
Im not judging people for their taste, what I am implying is that people tend to over react because it's not a conventional style to cook pasta. Just like what the person above said, other content creator tend to gag when tasting it just to make a point that it is gross, which it is not.
In my opinion, this is not what Filipino spaghetti should taste like. I would compare jollibee spaghetti to a school lunch version of the real thing lol
I'm a Filipino so I know what it should taste like, but still Idk what Jollispaghetti taste like over there so I can't confirm. What I'm saying is Filipino spaghetti isn't disgusting.
We prepare it differently because the ingredients themselves are different as well. Usually it's sweetness is attributed to mixing in banana ketchup and sugar into the tomato. So really, not that different from every other spaghetti where other recipes have other ingredients in their sauces, or we would otherwise have no variety in spaghetti sauce
and that's why these vloggers can make money out of us, pinoys like you get too proud just cause they munched on some jollibee. but sure whatever floats your boat...
Im 28, and my dad had to drag and drive me for my check-up appointments, or get me treatments and later get me some of those good stuff from our favorite bee. LMAO (I eat the fam size spag and bucket (4pcs) chicken joy and extra large fries. (Yea I eat alot...)
I understand the hate for Filipino Spaghetti Pasta. Although I've been in the Culinary scene for almost 6 years and now managing my own restaurant (here in the Philippines), I still choose the Sweet Filipino Style over the original Bolognese. My customers love it, even the tourists. We just love foods that has a tad bit sweetness to it!
@@miketess3358I am a Filipino and hate savory food that has sweetness in it. I really don't like Jollibee spaghetti and would opt to eat the palabok (you have to try this) but if spaghetti is already on the table then I wouldn't mind eating it. And yes, I also hate sweet cured meats and stuff. But again I wouldn't mind eating it.
Part of it probably because they don't know the sauce is banana ketchup they see the red sauce and expect regular tomato sauce. I don't blame them it's just what they are used to.
Not really tbh. An acquired taste is something like durian, natto, or the funkier foods. Filipino style spaghetti is far from those and goes great with fried chicken.
you're fake as much I remember original one slapped me so hard that I got knocked out for 69 days. Just for the note I was catfishing as grandma and so mango pie slapped me real hard.
I'm a Filipino but I'd overrate it just because it is nostalgic and tasty till this day it never makes me disappointed and tired eating foods made by Jollibee.
Lol You are trying to summon the Italians here. You meant Filipino spaghetti, right? Coz if you're generalizing spaghetti, Italians eat it fresh most of the time. Btw, for those who haven't known this yet, spaghetti is the name of the pasta not the whole dish.
It’s alright…. Their chicken is only good cause its so juicy and cheaper then competitors atm, but its just like any other fried chicken joint…saaalty… and im saying this as a pinoy 😂
@@choux7746 nah ah you lying I'm a fcking Filipino and ain't no way that salty I've eaten it too many tímes Didn't taste no Salt what the heck are u speaking off? It's not even oily idk what kind of Jollibee service you got but that ain't it
So anyone who hasn't/doesn't try filipino food isn't happy? 😂 Like I understand the joke man but it's probably better not to make takes like that 💀 Everyone's culture has wonderful food, and we should all try if we have the scope to. Nobody's is better than the other.
The favorite food i like is the fries spaghetti with red hot dog and coke float sundae and the ham burger (obviously I've tasted it because I'M FILIPINO)
Since 2020 we havent had a QB that has held the ball more than 5min to end the game!! Great work GIMMY!! And our defense struggled?? Held a team under 20 points is a damn good game.
