@@sohanaansari5823 yes it does! I always wondered why that part of my face and my undereyea seemed like there were shadows on them, turns out i jst wasnt applying the sunscreen properly
@@sohanaansari5823 your eyelids have the thinnest and most delicate skin on your face, which means that they are the first to show signs of aging, both from contact with the sun and gravity... but taking into account that 80% of all aging comes from the sun .. it is very necessary to apply sunscreen in this area
@@maymayyyy I always try to put some around my eyes too but as the day progresses I feel the urge to rub them and it always stings when it gets in the eyes I use the Cetaphil one btw
I also recommend the isntree hyaluronic acid sunscreen! It’s the perfect melt into your skin sunscreen. The black girl suncreen doesn’t have a white cast either but it gets greasy looking (coming from a girly with dry skin).
I get a very slight white cast with beauty of joseon but the innisfree sun gel is amazing It's even lighter than the BoJ one and it blends out into nothing
I have brown skin and this works perfectly. If anyone feels like they have a white cast with this, just leave it for a min or two and the cast will disappear.
Same goes for the Canmake. I didn't realize it was purple for a minute before dying down bc I wasn't globbing it on at first and did it in small sections xD.
@@beepbeep6201 it was the only “word” commonly known by foreigners I could really think of. If you have a better comparison, then by all means after you 🫶
I bought a two pack of this and it works so well on my brown skin! For anyone on the fence, BUY THIS!!! It feels like a lotion, so light and refreshing. When applying it I forget it’s a sunscreen lol
@@alyssiaadrianna Blooming Koco! They have sales so often and they shipped p quick to me (only took like 4 days for it to arrive even though a lot of people said it took weeks).
But it's not water or sweat resistant. It's not going to work in India during Summers. It's only a winter sunscreen for us and winters here last for like 4 months.
I have the same skin color as you and funny thing i have dry skin so im always trying to find skin care products that are dewy maybe thats Just me but thank you smm for reviewing thiss!! ☺
The haruharu wonder black rice sunscreen is definitely a good one to try!!! As far as I’ve seen it’s good for any skin tone. :).and has a velvet finish.
i love this sun screen so much!!! im black with a medium-deep skin tone (fenty 420-430 foundation for reference) and i never have a white case and it doesn’t sting my eyes at the end of the day like other sunscreens tend to do!! i have oily skin and it does give a glow but it’s not too much for me, but i started using it this winter, so im not sure how i’ll like it on my skin as it gets warmer. for now its a 10/10!!
I’ve heard great things about the biore watery essence sunscreen and it doesn’t make people look oily and is usually less than $10 a bottle. It’s coming in the mail I’m so excited
It was the first sunscreen I ever used up!! I was 14 and very picky with sunscreen but it was watery and lightweight and didn’t leave a white cast (at least not on me)!!
I recommend the Etude House sunprise mild watery light sun gel. I've gone through at 5 tubes because I apply a lot. It blends in sooo well and with no white cast and doesn't interfere with makeup. The Missha essence sun milk is good but rather than applying 2 finger lengths at once, I have to split the application since it rake s ability longer to settle in.
Chemical generally leaves no white cast BUT people with sensitive skin, acne prone skin and so on, for them is better to use mineral sunscreen bc chemical WILL cause irritation and make acne worse! Most of chemical sunscreens may cause this but not all, try to find what works best for you. If you use mineral sunscreen and it leaves alot of white cast just put a tinted serum on top. It will help cancel out the white cast!
Yes but people with darker skin don’t really have a choice if they don’t want to look like a strange ghost because of the white cast, plus reacting to chemical sunscreen is quite rare and there are a lot of different one so you can probably find one that work for you
@maelysgenoud503 Ofc they can wear, there are tinted mineral sunscreens. And also some people can break out bc of the chemical sunscreen expecially when someone has sensitive skin. I, myself can say that chemical sunscreen broke me out.
I’ve been dying for someone to review that one; thank you! I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about the one she’s trying and the isntree one everyone recommends. All the beauty girlies say they’re both the best ever, but the reviews on the sites that sell them are pretty bad they actually say they are very matte rather than dewy like she said
My absolute favourite sunscreen is Nivea UV GEL. It is my go to, my holy grail. I buy them in packs of 3-4 out of Stylevana. No white cast, super easy to apply, feels comfortable, performs very well under makeup and leaves you with very nice skin. The only downside is that it isn't waterproof. That being said, I don't need my face sunscreen to be waterproof unless I'm on vacation/going for a swim and for those instances, I can apply a regular sunscreen that might give me some white cast and I am good with that. Edit: I should add that I have acne prone combination/oily skin, depending on the season. This sunscreen is fabulous for me.
My favorite sunscreen for how it feels and looks on my skin. I’m so picky and have tried about every drugstore sunscreen out there and I got a free bottle of black girl sunscreen and I’ll never go back lol
I am very light skinned and still hate the white cast from the usual sunscreens, been using this brand for the last month and it is the best i've tried so far, definitely worth the hype
I have a brown South Asian skin. And oily skin. I love this product. It doesnt break me out. Its not oily either. But the "dewy" effect does give a slightly "oily"look.
It broke me out and left a white cast for some reason. I tried many Korean sunscreens and I liked none of them. Either burning sensation, breaking out or white cast. I prefer European sunscreens.
Try acne UV SPF 30 OR 50. Its for acne prone skin and gives excellent sun protection. To be applied 20 min b4 u exit the house and reapplication needed every 4 the hour
I apply it on my eyelids too! And bring that shit down to my neck. I always wondered why my eyelids where darker then my whole face and it was because I never used sunblock there til recently lol
I love InnisFree daily UV sunscreen. Also Korean product. Leaves no white cast on my skin. I buy it repeatedly. Was recommended to me last year while in Sephora looking for less costly sunscreens and instead of SuperGoop.
Honestly if ur a indian brown person watching this theres literally no need to spend so much money on korean sunscreen or any sunscreen without a white cast anymore cuz theres already so many who does that in indian market now. Im an indian and the best sunscreen i have tried so far which is indian is conscious chemist's sun drink spf 50 pa ++++ sunscreen and its costs 450 rupees if u buy it from discount. And its just one of them...theres so many indian now other than this who has zero whitecast. The one mentiones has titanium dioxide and zinc oxide as its main sunscreen ingredient so ur getting a strong protection without any white cast. There are many chemical sunscreen available as well, again with zero white cast
theres a clear sunscreen btw! from the ecoshift. its called brightening uv sunscreen, i am yet to try it though bc i already have way too many sunscreen in my drawer lmao
For me, it is dependent on how moisturized your face is. When I blend in my sunscreen I don't have a white cast. If I do get a white cast I use a beauty blender to dab it into my skin.
It's an amazing sunscreen. It's better to use when you are not outside. I mean you can use it at home during day time as we should all know you need to use sunscreen indoor and outdoor. This sunscreen is not waterproof, so if you are working out or outside sweating a lot then this sunscreen won't work.
I’ve heard differing opinions about it on brown skin of different shades. Some complain of a tint more so than white cast. You had a cut in application, so maybe you had more time to rub it in but I’ve also heard good things so.
Neutrogena recently released serum sunscreen thats supposed to work well for people with darker skin tones. I use their peach-tinted one and it works really well for me. The main drawback has been that it stings my eyes if I sweat with it.
May you please try the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF 50+ PA++++? I'd love to see your thoughts! I've heard that the sunscreen goes on like the like the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, and I want to see if it's brown girl approved!
Simon brown girl I'm Hispanic and there's a sunscreen from native any of their sunscreen is so amazing it works on brown girls on any skin tone and does not leave a white residue
you should try the neutrogena invisible daily defense sunscreen lotion, i use the fragrance free one and there’s no white cast for me 😮 just makes my eyes water a lot if i rub it too close to my eyes
I use this sunscreen and i undoubtedly can recommend for Dry skin cause it’s really hydrating but for as oily skin I would suggest not to buy cause it’s not so comfortable on the skinz
I have 4 tubes of this sunscreen. It completely replaced my Supergoop Unseen sunscreen. I have dry skin, so I don't mind the dewy look as it doesn't pill and has a ton of vitamins built into it. ❤
I also love the skin1004 sunscreen as well as the round lab sunscreen. Two sunscreens popular in korea, they dont burn my eyes and are brown girl friendly❤
Can you try nutragena (I know I spelled it wrong😭) invisible daily defense lotion (30 spf) it has a light tint to it so I’m wondering if it’s brown girl friendly
I use an aloe based reef safe sunscreen and it’s spf 30 (I’m hawaiian and brown with dark hair) I use it everyday and it helps with dark spots as well. It’s totally sheer! Brand:Aloe up (white collection)
