My brother & sister in law struggled forever with fertility. They adopted 2 children (cousins or ours actually) & about 6 yrs later. They got pregnant! Now I have a 16 yr old nephew, 11 year old neice & a 6 year old nephew.

You were there when my mom got diagnosed with kidney disease. When I overdosed on pain medicine because I couldn’t take my chronic pain. When my grandma was diagnosed with Luekima and when she passed away. You have been there. You shared real and raw emotions, laughs, podcast recommendations, Luna kisses, cactus babies, granteroni, and your precious mama. For you I am thankful.

I'm not going to lie, when you first started talking about your infertility, I took a step back. I couldn't watch, not because I didn't want to, but because my heart couldn't handle it. I've been on the journey and I HATE seeing anyone else having to take the same journey. It's so hard and it hurts. Every negative test is like a stab in the heart. Every positive test that your friends and family announce is like a stab in the back. It hurts but you will get through this. I love you, I'm here for you and I am praying for you and your family 💙

I've been along for the ride since we were both still in college(I think I came in around video 4?). You're 3 years older than me, so in a weird way, watching your life unfold has made me feel like you're like the older sister I never had--giving me advice and showing me what growing up looks like. Does that makes sense? It sounds strange now. Lol. Anyway, I'm rooting for you and your family and I'm really happy you're speaking out about what matters. I understand completely. I would cry for days when I found out that I wasn't pregnant. But after 3 months it finally happened. I had so many complications but overcame them all just to have my beautiful son. It will happen for you, I know, I just feel it. Also, so glad you were able to see your parents, I still can only wave to my mom. She is still in lock down. She is 89 and lives on the second floor, so she can see me, but I can not see her seeing she is in a wheel chair. But it helps make her day when I can travel there and wave to her. Hopefully soon I can actually give her a big hug. Stay strong my friend.

One of the things my husband was so right about was when we bought our house. I wanted the brand new house with the tiny yard, and he wanted the elderly house with the pink tile and the huge yard in the established neighborhood. Here we are 20 years later, and we fixed the pink tile and everything else, but our yard (front and back) is glorious. And they neighborhood is elderly but perfect.

Can you ask your mom if she has ever made a lemonade pie? It has cool whip, frozen lemonade, and sweetened condensed milk. The best part was the crust, which was flour, butter, walnuts--so not super sweet but the right kind of savory for the lemonade pie. I got it from the newspaper in high school and I have seen several similar but without the right crust.

I understand exactly where you are coming from in regards to seeing your family. My parents are in Fl, I’m in Ga. I haven’t seen them since March. I’m a respiratory therapist so I’ve obviously still been working (in peds, not hard hit by Covid at all). I need to see my parents. We are planning on them coming to visit in just over a month. Like you, in order to prepare for that I haven’t been going anywhere other than work and the grocery store every other week. And Ga is VERY open for pretty much everything. I’m taking every precaution I can in be as safe as possible to see them. Sorry for the long ramble, but basically, I understand your visit and I can’t wait for mine. 💗

I also have PCOS, getting pregnant was a struggle. We tried for two years and now I’m 37 weeks pregnant. It’ll happen. It will happen for You and your husband sooner or later but You will be parents ❤️ I believe in it

It’s so wonderful to see you take a stand outside n BLM, and in so glad you got to see your fam!! I hope the fertility stuff smooths out we always like hearing what’s happening so we can offer encouragement!
