They went back to Omrons due to the amount of RMA's with kailh switches, 5 of the Starlights I own that use Kailh GM 8.0's double click while my Ares that has 20m Omrons is fine 🙃
@@BigBoss-pd9mn the thing is that kailh 8.0's shouldnt double click, considering they are gold plated. Thats the only reason why Japanese Omrons dont double click. Double click is an oxidation issue, and gold doesnt oxidize. I dont know if Kailh uses a cheap gold alloy prone to oxidation, or if their quality control just sucks.
@@Beardedbob hello beardedbob i was wondering if the small and medium finalmouse starlight has the same board size cause my finalmouse tenz small sensor doesnt work anymore and i cant get an rma for it and i found someones finalmouse the last legend but its medium size the problem with that one is that its mouse housing is crushed
My wife still mains her Ultralight cape town and never had issues with it. Really disappointing to see that since Finalmouse has entered the wireless game that there are still bad quality control issues on certain batches.
@@Beardedbob I have the exact same issue, I even replace the switches, but still has the same problem, and there isn’t any adhesive material inside, what do u think might be the problem? Is it the wireless connector? From time to time, I press once and it shoots 5 or 6 bullets out
Yeah my right click on my model is horrible, left click is fine. Not to mention the shell creaks and the scroll wheel is mushy and far too stiff to click in quickly. I wanted to send it back but you have to send it via fedex as that is their supplier, also if they determine it has no issues you get charged too, so I just decided to go 3rd party repair. It’s actually a really good mouse just terrible TERRIBLE qc from Finalmouse, incredibly disappointing to wait 7 weeks for a product and it starts breaking within a week.

If Ultralight X doesnt use optical switches I am not going to buy it no matter how hyped it become. Sadly only Razer stuffs their mice with proper hardware...
Cmon now... Omron 20m? They're a staple for Logitech line of works and other smaller companies, but with the price FinalMouse is charging, they could at least throw in some Kailhs... Aside from the newer Razer limited edition RVM, I'm actually interested in Pwnage's StormBreaker. However, I hope Pwnage had worked on their hardware for the past two years. I haven't had the best performance on my Ergo Wireless, and I suspect it's an issue with motion latency.
I wonder how the PWNAGE StormBreaker is going to _(coughing .. clone)_ is going to compare?? A lot of people bought The Last Legend version (code) so they could get their hands on Finalmouse's forthcoming OLED keyboard. I almost did that because I'm also into keyboards, but then I thought Finalmouse first offerings. What could go wrong there?!!!!!!!?
@@Defl8tedGosius .. I hope it's good. I'm debating on pre-ordering one. I have so many damn mice as it is not to mention a box full of different skates. For a while there I had a problem, and not the first time with stuff...duh must buy it! Personally I actually found the sweet spot for myself around 60g and then it depends upon the type of skates I'm using. Glass gates take a lot of weight off, but you're still stuck with inertia. I would have no problem buying a large version of my Finalmouse if they made it. I like my final mouse.
My only issue was the scroll wheel and not the alignment but it's use and function. However, the firmware update posted on their Twitter account fixed all that thankfully. So it went from just sitting there to occasionally getting used.
