Selfish act. No matter what it costs. That's what humans can do for themselves or for the person they love. Selfish. Yes. But not for him. It is for her.
That part where Otto is thinking of Kallen for strength and can't see most of her face hits hard. Why? Because its been 500 years, so he probably is having a hard time fully remembering what she even looks like its been so long.
@@SnKanon if she's the exact copy, he would have successfully revived Kallen, all of the clones he every made were all failure and looked nothing like her
I always find it funny when I see peoples reactions to this animation and go like "WOW, OTTO CAN FIGHT!?" But they seem to forget that it was Otto who trained Theresa, Rita and Bianka, all absoloute beasts in combat and all S rank Valks, so yeah, Otto can friggin fight. He trained in swordsmanship since young, then went on to killing his siblings, cousins and their bodyguards in a very bloody coup of the Shicksal order, literally carving out the cancerous corruption, then went to the East and studied martial arts and learned the edge of a Taixuan from FuHua, earning himself the moniker "The Rakshasa". When Kiana and Bianka fought, and Kiana used the edge of Taixuan, she was shocked when Bianka did the same, and guess where she learnt it from.
I just got to this point ingame and it was beautiful, other animations got close but this was the one that made me cry. Otto finally got what he wanted, in the most win-win way possible, even if it took 500 years and even if it killed him. o7
Selfish act for the woman he loves. Unforgiving. But ... Whatever it cost. He will do it for his beloved woman. Even if you break the rule of the universe. You can do selfish thing for your beloved. No matter how long it takes. You will never give up to make it happen.
@@r3ll282 Too many lives were lost to him. Sirin and Ana Schariac also count. The former was tortured with cruel experiments in the Babylon Tower, while Ana was sent along with her Valkyrie teammates on an ill-fated mission where she fell victim to Honkai corruption and became an Herrscher out of control, killing all her comrades. Durandal and Mei had no choice but to kill her at that point.
He also helped civilization greatly in surviving the honkai, and the whole point of his character is the quote: “That which is done out of love is always beyond good and evil.” No wonder he did so much abominable things, otherwise he'd be a boring character, but I see your profile pic so I honestly dunno why I even bother to write this.
