Thank you for the informative video! I would like to add my parents as my joint-sponsors. I know I need to file a separate I-134 for the joint-sponsor, but I'm not sure if I need to file two separate I-134s for them, i.e. one form for my father, and one for my mother. There bank account and incomes are shared, but I do not see a place on I-134 to add two people on one form. Thank you for any help you can provide.
If one parent does not meet the requirement individually, each parent will need to complete Form I-134. To discuss further, you may schedule a consultation with us at www.directusimmigration.com .
a question related to this: when my girlfriend as the petitioner starts her full time job in august, should we stick with a joint sponsor or get something like income predictions for her new job? So far we thought one I134 is enough even if it is the joint sponsor that fills it out.
Hello. It depends on the type of form and type of immigration benefit being requested. Please send us an email at inquiry@directusimmigration.com to schedule a consultation with an attorney to discuss further.
Great info,I'm attempting to use this form for Ukraine citizens, that fleed to Germany But other information I received via RU-vid If they can flee to a safe country, this process may not apply for them You are Expert, enlightened me PLEASE
Can you tackle people that sponsor people with dependents. Also can you go over family size, meaning who is counted as a dependent for sponsor. Talk about kids under 21. Individuals living in the home contributing to the sponsor. Thanks in advance!

Dear Ms Brown How to fill out Joint sponcor for I.134 form one beneficiary ? Do each sponcor need to fill out separate I.134 form??? Thank you for your help. yours sincerely Andy
I will add that to the list of videos to film. In short, the type of visa will dictate which form is required. If your question is time sensitive, you may schedule a consultation with us at www.directusimmigration.com .
Thank you for the videos. they are very informative. I had a quick question in regards to that very topic. on Page 6 of the form Item 14. it does ask to list any dependents or any person you financially support. does one include for instance child support and alimony? am sure you would based on what I understood. do you tabulate the total amount you give annually and deduct it from the yearly salary and do you specify the relation as being child and ex wife? or do you explain that part on page 8 and provide more detail?
Thank you! If you have a payment plan set up and are paying on time, that that should not be an issue. To discuss further, please feel free to schedule a consultation with us at www.directusimmigration.com .
My fiancée didn’t meet up the income requirement. In her 2022 tax return she didn’t make much but she’s probably going to make X2 this year . Do we still need a Joint sponsor ? Or she should just show proof of income ?
She will need to provide her tax return as well as show evidence of her new income. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to schedule a consultation with us at www.directusimmigration.com or by emailing us at inquiry@directusimmigration.com .

Hi there. Thank you for this video. I have two questions regarding K-1 visa: 1) I wondered if the joint sponsor and primary sponsor can show evidence of financial support together? Ex: if my mom is very close to or at the income threshold and shows her tax return & W2, would the cash from my beneficiary and I's savings accounts be able to makeup the difference? 2) Also, it is said that one can apply for permission to work at the same time he applies for visa, either for 90 days or 1 year. So how would this impact the need for evidence of financial support during the visa interview in his country (morocco), or for if we make it to form I-894? Thank you so much, Destiny.
Hello! (1) Yes, but cash assets are calculated different. (2) Ability to apply for work authorization depends on which visa is being applied for. To discuss further, please schedule a consultation with us through www.directusimmigration.com or email us at inquiry@directusimmigration.com .

Thank you for this video. I have a question, as proof of income do you have to provide both the W2 and employment letter or can I just submit the W2 form?
An employment verification letter is not always required as it depends on certain circumstances such as not being able to show income from a new job where you haven’t completed a payment cycle with the company yet. USCIS may also request this if they need further evidence of the employment. Please feel free to schedule a consultation with us if you have further questions.

Since covid happened and there was back log they finally reached out to us on september of this year to continue with the Visa process. They requested tax transcript for 2022 but since he was unemployed he wouldn't have it. He just got a job in december of this year. Can we still apply and will we be elegible? Thanks in advance

You ultimately want to be able to earn at least 125% of the federal poverty guideline ( aspe.hhs.gov/topics/poverty-economic-mobility/poverty-guidelines ) for your household in order to sponsor an individual for a green card. Hello, I want to be a sponsor for 3 people. My income is a little over 40,000. I don’t have dependents, but there is 2 more people in household besides me. Everyone has income. I am a little confused how I calculate household size. So, basically my household is 3 people, but in I-134A I provide only my income. Does it mean I should have income sufficient for 3 beneficiaries and me (household of 4) correct? Thanks in advance

I'm thinking about sponsoring a male adult and his daughter who is a minor. Will I be financiallu or legally responsible for them as well. Or will the government come after me for support. Do you have a link where I can find more info on this topic.
You will be responsible for both unless one of the five terminating events occur which includes: becoming a U.S. citizen; 40 quarters of work (10 years if working straight through); is no longer a permanent resident and departed the U.S.; after being ordered deported, seeks permanent residency in deportation proceeding based on a different I-864/I-134; or death. In most cases the I-864 will terminate after the green card holder becomes a U.S. citizen (a marriage-based green card application can apply for citizenship after holding green card status for 3 years) or after 40 quarters of work history.
