I loved the video and all of your videos are fantastic sources of information ♡ I do need some clarification about that golden thread technique and how to change the limiting beliefs found by this technique. You explain everything so clearly except that specific golden thread technique that somehow you manage in all your videos to speak about vaguely . Oh my goodness this is life changing ...... thankyou for posting. Core beliefs (inner child)⁰ are so strong discovering which one of the three lies you believe, then having a dialogue with that belief and changing it can change your life. OMG putting more value on external validation far out my love for me is the most important not the external strokes....... aaaand I see can see the external validation does become a drug that satisfies in the moment u get a hit like sugar 2 minutes later your hungry again. The truth will set you free. Amazing.

This is the best video I’ve ever seen! I’m turning 44, been through 10+ yrs of therapy which helped only slightly and I’ve read countless books and seen numerous videos. I’ve struggled in seeking external validation and struggled in relationships. This is the best message and so clearly executed. I got it. It clicks. Thank you for sharing the wisdom. Now it’s time to work on the integration of the inner parent/inner child love relationship and to remove old tapes/lies. I feel a newfound freedom after watching this. No one has quite explained it like this before. Brilliant!

This opening sequence has made a huge difference! I now understand that I can have love for someone and that is a green light feeling for me and also that having a relationship with them is a whole other ball game! Wow! It means I get to keep my green light feelings rather than try to destroy them when a relationship doesn’t happen. Liberating. I feel better. Thank you💚

This is the greatest teaching I have ever heard about love and loving yourself yes David for many years I looked for validation for others and love that I never got why because it dont exist, I truly appreciate and understand who I am and Loving myself is the key to others loving me and this love as you said come from within and not from no one but our Divine creator. Yes the inner child block me for many years of loving myself I was loving the things outside of me as I put it the things in this world will create a false sense of love it is only within what a great teaching David and Alex no one can love me better than I can Thank you.🎉

I'm really enjoying this. I suffered a lot of emotional abuse from my parents but haven't been able to move on because my inner child has believed she couldn't be "whole" until her parents apologized for the hurt they caused. This is freeing to accept that I can be whole and full of love regardless of what my parents do or dont do. I'm still very sad and disappointed that I can't be in a close relationship with my parents because they continue to lie and make excuses for their behavior in the present. But my worth doesn't have to be tied to their actions. I've "known" this intellectually, but I hadn't realized thar my inner child has still been believing that she NEEDED that validation from my parents.

Thank you. This helped me to identify my inner child’s belief that I’m going to be compared, criticized & judged if I learn how to sew, do T-shirt painting. I also learned that i farmed out my responsibility for myself to my husband & nasty boss. Thank you for helping me identify the lie & ways I need to manipulate others & let them manipulate me. Thank you for reminding me to get down to facts. I believe others have to love me because I’m not good at it. I have to get better at it.

Watching this again this morning, found this just the other day. I need to embrace the "self-love", and thus become a better man. I have, (sadly), been so dependent on finding "true love, (I.e. Something that equates receiving something even remotely close to the love I feel in my heart). Needless to say, That has NEVER happened. There's a famous Australian singer songwriter who had a few hits in the 1990s and a couple of her albums are amongst my all-time favourites. I remember as a teenager hearing a line in one of her songs: "And if God looked me straight in the eye and told me he loved me, I'd think he was lying..." Listening to this talk suddenly reminded me of that. And I remember my mum hearing that line one day and being quite struck, nodding in agreement. (She never talked about feelings, had a traumatic past and was quite emotionally unavailable.) I've never forgotten that moment of her relating to this lyric. It's only now as an adult that I really appreciate the importance of the line and have been learning how to love myself instead of being so desperate to get it from others.

For some reason on watching this video I have red light feelings. I am sitting with my inner child and these red light feelings do not go away. Usually this works, I ask my inner child to talk to me - we have a good conversation and this sorts my feelings as we explore our believes and where they are coming from

@@WuWeiWisdom I meditated on your question and I think my biggest sticking point with generating love for myself is having let myself down in the past. I allowed many bad situations to happen in my past that I could have stopped so I feel some self-hatred and therefore feel unworthy of love. In recent years I've been standing up for myself a lot more so I feel more self-love than before but I could always bring more to myself.

You should not punish yourself for 'mistakes' of the past. We only learn by making mistakes and you (and everyone else!) are NOT perfect. What is love? Still throws me. If I cannot be true to myself , i cannot be truthful with anyone else. Get rid of silly , false expectations connected to a lie I've not dealt with . Love is a feeling that I create. Love and truth come from the same seed

This is enlightening. I really needed this. I have _so_ wanted to love myself for over 30 years, but I have got caught up with ‘dating game and romantic cultural requirements’ of what I was told do be and do and so I felt that I wasn’t good enough until I was a gentleman. It’s not that I am not one, per se, but I was told that I could _only_ be one if I was to be romantically accepted. Not being a gentleman was simply out of the question! How could I love myself at the time when I wasn’t up to ‘cultural standard’ when it came to loving a woman, for example, when the self that I was loving was told that it didn’t cut the cultural mustard? Through spirituality, I am discovering a whole array of different person types, that ‘gentleman’ (this applies to ‘lady’ too) is but _one_ of them. Thank you so much for this! ❤

Thank you so much. I do love myself, yet not completely seemingly. I cannot date people being completely detached of their actions of love towards me. This is creating red light feelings of fear and still not feeling good enough. For example: I am feeling good about myself and my life, I do love myself. I meet a person I like a lot and with whom I connect well, then after few good dates when he starts to withdraw, keeps 'looking' for other women I do feel not good enough. I accept he does not owe me anything and is free to choose to be in love with me or not. Yet somehow it affects me and that feeling of not being good enough pops up again, I do feel hurt. I still love myself, though as you mention I feel so disappointed and sad. Cause yes I do love myself and I want to share that with someone. This feeling led me to fear connecting with men, cause I fear feeling hurt again, this is leading me to be closed towards people making connection difficult. How can I handle with this? As I said, I cannot connect without getting attached... How can we handle disappointment? Thanks again for this good video.

Dear David and Alex, thankyou so much for your excellent work. It is really practical and so helpful! At about 44 minutes in David mentioned that you will 'have to do another video about relationship..' about 'working the relationship' as differentiated from the feeling of love for self and other. That being in a relationship is one thing and loving is another. This is something I'm personally looking at in my own life and I would very much value such a video teaching on difference in a way between love and being in relationship. Can you please do such a video with that as a theme.. Looking into the actual relationship aspect in particular. Thankyou. Ps I'm going through alot of your videos in a way they all point the way to having a much better capacity to actually relate in a healthy and apropriate way to oneself and others.

I just wanted to say thank you for all this information!! I’ve watched so many of your videos back to back now. I’m realizing I need to do inner child work because intellectually I understand & believe all these things, but my inner child must not. I also had a big ah-ha when (maybe it was in a different video) of “Not being enough”. I could never resonate with “I’m not good enough” but if I removed the word good, there it was! That is some sort of belief. I’m still really struggling but I at least feel a little more hopeful. So thank you again! I was also wondering if you guys ever talk about interdependence in the context of a relationship? I’d love to hear about that. ❤️

Like at the end of the talk or at the end of a certain topic you open up the phone/video lines and allow people to ask questions. It would be so exciting to ask a question and receive any answer. Thank you again for sharing this beautiful knowledge. I have a lot of work to do on self love and I think I start to understand, but I have a limit perhaps ... I agree that love has to come from inside of us and flow externally and I believe that this can possibly open potential health relationships to be attracted to us, nevertheless how can the love for ourselves be ever complete as an exchange of love between two human beings is? There’s the touching, the looking into each other eyes, the connection. So, the kind of love that I can have for myself cannot replace that, it is a different kind of connection. David you said also that it is human and natural to aim to connect with another human being, therefore the self love can certainly help not to break into pieces if a relationship ends by going back to our center and our true energy source, but that doesn’t mean that we will stop searching for that exchange with another, that we will be fulfilled by our self love only. I don’t think I could be, even if I enjoy being with myself most of the times... I still prefer when I have a deep connection with another human being. Am I wrong? I think I might be a little confused here.

Wow! One of the best video’s for me as the love department is where I struggle the most 🤷🏼‍♀️ So insightful and filled with truth!!! Love yourself and be in your truth, wow. So if I get it well: no expectations towards the loved one, still having my own boundaries and true needs I can deliver in the proper way! If my loved one cannot answer those needs or crosses my boundaries, i am “hurt” but I still love myself and them too (well maybe a littles less 😉) Thanks again for your great work! I love your channel, it inspires me a lot 😊

My father didnt include me to the beach and made me feel ugly and old as he went with a young woman 40 years younger than him which made me feel insecure. I kept my feeling under wrap however the man I was dating at the time expressed that he noticed how this will affect me. It wouldnt have affected me if I did love myself. however I get validation from my father. My mother died when I was 5 and he might not like me because he dislikes my mother.

I've been depending on bad information as to whom to depend on for my love needs. I'm not supposed to depend on other people to do the job that I need to do for myself in getting these love needs to get met. As for others who may or may not love me later on, well, that's relational love at best. But the deep stuff has to come from inside me depending on how well I assimilate the universal love that's all around. Is this how this love process works?

Great video with so much information. I was so happy to hear the story of the woman who wanted a relationship but was still dealing with her mother having left her as a child. I am in the same situation at the start of a new relationship. I wondered wondered what coping skills you helped educate her with in case the relationship didn't work out. I could probably use learning the same skills.

Hi Jenice, Thanks for your question! The good news is the work is all about you NOT the relationship, so it does not involve anyone else. You will have to do some 'Golden Thread Process' work to resolve those beliefs that were created around your mother. What about acts of love, like feeding the homeless. Can you still not have love for yourself but do this act of love. How does that fit in with the chi balance etc? Because the love for oneself isn’t there or blocked yet they can still perform an act of love which is so helpful for someone and in turn they can feel loved.

Love is not a feeling, he is got it wrong... and I'm not trying to proof anything here, but I believed this is why most of us got it wrong when it comes to understant what is love..love is an action, is a choice, a free will if we can say that, we choose to love someone, I think we confused love with lust, infatuation etc.

Hi Rudy, Thanks for your input on the debate. I don't think we are too far apart on this. The teaching is the you are the creator of your emotions not the victim of them. Love is an emotional feeling that is created by your thoughts, beliefs and choices. I never spoke about confusing love with lust, infatuation or anything else. How do you help victims of childhood rape or those who have been tortured? How do you get these people to believe that the universe loves them and that this will not happen again?

Thanks for your question Elaine. It is different for every person. I work with clients every day with this type of history and challenging situations. One of the facts I remind them of is: no matter how bad those childhood times were they came through it, and that's how awesome they are!! @@WuWeiWisdom I am not sure, whether this answers the question. Are you saying that just surviving this experience is proof that the universe loves you? I would prefer a universe, that loved people so much that it wouldn't put a small child into this situation. An experience like this is the definition of cruelty and abuse. When a person has gone through this, they forever know that on at least one occasion, the universe could not even be bothered about saving them. The years of distress and pain do not make a person awesome, they make them fragile and disempowered. If, by some miracle, they recover and end up in happy loving relationships, they will forever be looking for what they finally did right that made the universe love them, in case things turn bad and they have to start rebuilding again.

I did not address your comments about the "Universe loves you?" because that opens up a whole new debate that is NOT part of our Wu Wei Wisdom philosophy. There is love here on earth-many people reject God's love. There are people here who do love. You love God as you state, you give authentic love to others as you do to yourself.
