Depend on your gameplay, choice 1 in 4 situation.
Just make sure you choice correct dialogue when you meet Zyras first times, if choice wrong, even you try enter Zhentarim Hideout, She will attack you and not give you the job.

Situation 5, Soon as you see the Zhentarim hideout blow them the fook up, its the biggest explosion in game which kills most of the npcs, then blow up the bridges and ladders and kill the Boss and men with arrows. Then go underground in to LSD land

Tip: Before fighting with gnolls, ungroup ur team and go alone with your main char to speak to gnol leader.

I don’t know what I did, but the gnolls are dead, the only people left at the cave are Rugan and Olly. I think I might have persuaded him to let me take the shipment, but Zarys won’t offer to accept the shipment at the hideout. She still seems to be waiting for Rugan….who is just hanging out at the mouth of the cave and won’t talk to me anymore 🤷‍♂️. Oh well, off to moonrise towers.

So no #6 - they died fighting Gnolls - you opened the chest like ya do w/ any locked chest after big fight and Z tries to kill you if you show opened chest or the flask. Just want the Titan's bow... :(

what happens if you give them the locked chest but without the iron flask inside? does this have any repercussions?

You can't, she will notice that you opened the chest and be hostile at you

@braiano2131 there was a trick with merchants to take things out of a chest but the chest was never unlocked as far as the game knows.

Damn am I screwed if I pickpocketed the chest and still want the bow from Zyras? Rugan and Olly already died at the fight sadly.

I made a deal with Rugan, refused to kill him, let him go after the fight and gain enough explosives to take down the entire goblin horde....which was my main goal to begin with. Shipment wasn't important. Enough supplies to survive the Underdark and beyond with a whole lot of fire power when I need it. Win, win.

fell into the fourth situation when I entered the cellar and couldn't open the cabinet to go in. What's wrong with the report or is it a bug?

I've got myself in situation 2, but I refused to kill Rugan, which provoked a fight with Zyras and her man. I managed to save Rugan life in the fight. What outcome will there be? Would I meet Rugan in Baldur's Gate or what?

Did the same thing, but I never did find Rugan again, or the person who you can sell it to in Baldur’s Gate.. You just make an enemy out of the Zhents, which isn’t too bad, they’re kind of ass anyway.

I got to this point too. In my case after killing Zarys and her goons, I released Rugan and he attacked me, so I killed him and released the painter. Maybe I’ll regret this 😅

Situation 4 seems to be the best if you don't mind killing Rugan and Olly (or let them be killed in the battle). You get the bow, friend of the zhent and you get the cargo (if you want it). I don't know if taking the cargo will affect anything in future stuff though. I hope not, going to go all the way back to get the 4th one.
