What a fun analytical approach! I think subconsciously I might be going for old Hollywood glamour when it comes to red. I love the classic reds and the jazz era reds.
So glad you did this video! It helped me understand why so many of my lipsticks don't look right on me. I'm a "winter" so all those warm peachy/rusty shades are in the trash, and my new blueish-reds are in my lineup. Finally feeling less guilty about my Chanel Sublimage foundation purchase. Dressed up for Mother's Day and it's the foundation I've always dreamed of. I don't need to do full makeup each day, so this will last a long time for me.
Happy Mother’s Day! I’m sure you looked gorgeous 😍 I know just what you mean about those rusty and peachy tones-they don’t work for everybody. Enjoy your beautiful blue reds! 💄
Great video! I have been gray for two years and I thought I had to wear only cool colors. By the end of my grow out I found I have just enough neutral to wear warm too.
Another interesting video, Beth!! I tend to not wear a red lip, although I did when I was younger. Now it just seems to age me. I love the red lip you wore in this video. Looks great on you!
I love a red lip 💋 my favourites right now is Sephora’s matte lipsticks in #10 and #12 , they do feel dry on the lips but the colour stays. I also top it with the Charlotte Tilbury one I just bought which is more creamy. I also love bright and light pinks . The dark mauves and browns, nudes do not look good on me. You are right the more you try different ones you will find the ones you love and wear with confidence 💄 you look beautiful as always 👩🏻🦳🤗🌹 have a great week
Yes! I know you’re a big fan of lipstick. Glad to hear that you like Sephora’s matte shades. I was surprised by how creamy and effective these Sephora glossy shades are 😍😍
Yass! Good ear. I am a native Minnesotan and my mother’s side is from Fargo, ND. I’ve been in detroit for 10 years, but those prairie roots are real. 🌾
