I don't think the people who lived there decapitated the dog. It was most likely the same people who spray painted pentagrams inside that house that made a sacrifice of the poor animal. Gruesome find.
That's usually just a gimmick of vandals, they like to play into the whole this place is spooky scary omg Satan vibe, notice the "he's watching" and "slender" graffiti too. I highly doubt that the animal was used as any sort of ritual, i see no evidence to hint at that but that's not to say the vandals didn't do it. I just don't think it was an act of "sacrifice"
The dog was probably dead before they decapitated it. That's what these wannabes do. Modern Satanists don't perform sacrifices. If they were Pagan they would have used a goat or chicken.
Pagans would not have "sacrificed" or killed anything. Satinists are also not pagan, Satan is a tenet of Christianity and has nothing to with paganism. Pagansism is just a polytheistic earth based religion.

The dog corpse looks semi recent. I found a dead deer in the basement of an abandoned house with its neck slit open and head craned back. It was a very disturbing sight. There were pentagrams on the walls in the place as well. Basement was all brick and really dark. The house was considered one of the most haunted in my state. There's no doubt that sacrifices and such occur. Never fun to find them though :/

Geez, I was on the edge of my seat at every turn you took due to the title of this video. I was ready to jump at the sight of the decapitated dog. Good thing you didn't find it until you had checked everything else out. It was a pretty cool looking place. I hope to God you carry a weapon of some sort. If nothing else get some pepper spray. No idea why this was in my reccomeded but here's what I can gather from the dog with the limited things I've seen: It looks like its at least three-four months to a year old due to the composition of the dog's remains. I reckon this because I dabble in finding dead things (don't ask lmao), and depending on the temperature it could have rotted at different times. It's not a coyote body, it's fur and body shape don't resemble one, it looks to be a lab (which are common in country areas). Now as for the decapitation, here are my thoughts: It could have been used in a ritual, HOWEVER the pentagrams aren't correct, they should be pointing down, most likely kids trying to be spooky, so I actually doubt it. I believe it died there (or near there), someone could have stumbled upon it, and taken it's head as animal skulls are a popular oddity to collect for references or decor in some communities. Many clean skulls of roadkill/dead animals in order to keep them.
Especially that the dog was dragged way back on the property into that 2nd house. If it was rabies (as other viewers were saying) and the head was taken for testing, why would they bring it all the way back there into that house? Makes no sense at all. I'm glad that I discovered it at the end because it really gave me a terrible feeling. Sick to my stomach. Yuck.

April Dimattei I think the dog was very mistreated (skinny to the point of caving in), taken there and killed. The head did not appear to be anywhere. I felt an evil vibe, as weird as that sounds.
When I was in grade school, I climbed up into my Grandparents' barn hayloft, and I found some mummified animal corpses that were about the size of a large cat, or something. All the hair had fallen off, and the skin was retreating from the mouth, nose, eyes and ears. I asked my Grandma about them and she said that they were most likely raccoons that had eaten rat poison and died. My Grandparents had a working farm into the late 80s, and rats and mice ate a lot of grain.

Then it either pops or scavengers tear it open and the glasses and fluids escape. If the skin isn't eaten, it will dry up and shrink over the bones. Like on the dog's carcass. I'm not some morbid person who has killed animals to observe how they rot, I live in Upper Michigan, where there are a lot of road-killed deer, raccoons, porcupines, coyotes and turtles. And skunks, which I've always thought smelled like burning tires.

As someone who grew up in a dairy farming community with most homesteads established in the late 1800’s I can tell you most farmers took better care of their barn than their house. Also the little house behind the barn was probably a summer kitchen. I’m not sure where you’re located but many homes built in the late 1800 early 1900 in the Midwest states had summer kitchens.

me and a friend of mine were walking threw an overgrown trail in southern Wisconsin and walked up on a white dog with its head cut clean off.. I remember thinking it looked fresh and I was disturbed by that shit.. we kept walking and out of nowhere my friend starts bolting across the shallow river next to the trailing yelling at me to run.. he was hella scared .. so I did .. ran my ass right across that river with him and kept goin... I thought he maybe saw the person who killed the dog but then he starts rambling about seeing a wolf man standing up on 2 legs starring him down... I didn't see it but he was scared as hell nd I have always wonder what did he see that had him like that.. Alex Stancato I was exploring a abandoned camping site with a friend, everything was dark and we saw a trailer so we went inside, the door was unlocked but nobody was there. I closed the door and my friend suddenly tells me to be quiet because he heard something. 5 sec later I hear someone breathing/shivering, after that we heard something walk on top of the trailer. We went outside and there was nothing. We went back and smoked a blunt to relax lmao. Also saw a shadow figure move before it happened but thought it was reflection, I later realized that couldn’t have been me. Kinda scary but also happy it happened . Makes me realize there might be such things and not every story is fake

I'm curious. Would the authorities let the owner of the dog remove it's head or would they want a vet to do that? If the dog was rabid, it would be dangerous to do that without protection.

When I was 8 I was exploring this tiny woods area behind my neighbors house and I found a dead dog locked in a cage. I explored that place like every weekend so it was new. I remember not being able to sleep because of how much I was crying, and now I'm 15 and still feel disgusted and sad when I think about it. Also I live in North Dakota so it is definitely a small area, but idk what the back story is or anything, but I don't want to know.
these old houses are cool I just found your channel!! I took a drive up Sgt york Hiway in middle Tennessee, there were a lot of these types of houses along the way. I was just itching to go check them out but wasn't driving and, worried about getting in trouble esp being from out of state.
I found your outdoor video very pleasant. It was a pretty area. The barn was a fun find. Again, I enjoy how you meander about these properties to give us unexpected views of the whole exploration experience. Your focus is so much more than just finding trash left behind. There didn't appear to be any evidence of blood in the house or out buildings, so I wonder if the poor dog was killed somewhere else (or outside away from the buildings) and dumped there? Giving my doggy a big hug now!
Love the old farmhouses. I grew up in the old farmhouse era, on the family farm. I gotta say, I miss the old days, and it’s a shame how everything is modernized nowadays. I really appreciate these videos, brings back fond memories.
Oh man, the box springs as fence brought back some memories. We had to do that on a portion of my grandmother's farm until the fence guy could come out and repair a hole proper. Hole happened in the sheep area during lambing season and the ewes weren't too aware that their babies were not five star swimmers for the creek on the other side.

@Ray Ward Basic instincts are lost to humans, we have evolved to not need them anymore in the modern day. We have morals and ethics, this makes us want to save everybody. Some will make sacrifice, others will save themselves or others will save everyone. Some people will save their friends but not other humans, that can also apply to dogs because some people associate more with them than other humans. There is not right or wrong in this situation.

this house has the same exact floor plan/ layout as the farmhouse my grandparents have in michigan. my grandparents house has had rooms added on over time however, but the base home is he exact same. that was trippy

There's a reason to report this, if only to give the local police the information. I chose not to watch the video as I'm nursing a dog on it's last 24-48 hours, but if there were satanic symbols in the house, that's useful information. Next, because decapitating a dog would be a criminal offense done by someone w/a criminal mind. Serial killers get their start torturing & then killing animals. Another reason police would take the information so they would be alert for that certain someone in this area.

Interesting explore, thanks for sharing. Once competent owner, something strange happened. I bet many of these properties were abandoned due to illness, (although everything needed expensive updating). The rocks on the roof at 10:00 are just odd. Reminds me of my grandmother, lived into her 90s, weeks before she died of an inoperable brain tumor, she would do weird things with rocks and boulders, move them around on the property line them up, ect. Years ago my landlord was doing strange things before diagnosed with a brain tumor, once very competent handy man, all of sudden starting doing odd things like painting his truck bumper white.... to match the truck. Elderly people with alzheimer's will do odd things, the expression "lost their marbles," cause they'll lie down in places like the driveway searching for weeds... for no reason, but it makes sense to them to keep busy. God bless, we all grow old and die, hope everyone finds the help they need.

As you were leaving, in the main house, I saw spray painted on a wall "2K16" which I assume is the date 2016. So people have apparently been there fairly recently. Oh I’ve found something almost like it 🥺 it was really sad, and by a lake. It was a dead dog, but was definitely abused, it’s feet, arms, and muzzle were tightly tied shut with a trash bag, or some material like it. It’s disgusting how cruel and heartless people can be.
